Im glad Matt is OK, that is truly something that us Cherryville, Shelby boys could only pull off. Matt was already nursing a injury and then this. You guys did better than some of us on the Kayak trail a week after you all left. The 35 mph winds were brutal. Stay safe and keep the videos coming McCoy.

But it blows my mind how well Matt has done since you took him out last year and got his Mo-Jo back. I don’t think he’s finished out of the top 20 since then. I may be wrong on that. But there’s not been many times. I’ll say a lot more above 20 than below it. But you are having an awesome year so far also. Keep it going Scott. I pull hard for all 3 of you.
Great video. My heart was sure with Canterbury and the pain he was enduring for his friend. Felt bad for Matt falling. He is fortunate he did not hurt himself more than he did. Awesome videos Scott. If you want to stop loosing all those fish get rid of the trokar hooks. They cut a hole that the hook can fall out of. Go with a round pointed hook like a gamakatsu and that will stop. I did and made a huge difference.

Scott, I really enjoy watching your tournament videos! It seems like your stuck in a rut this year. Maybe you need to start thinking like you’re fishing four one day tournaments in a row. You need to try those new powerbait gillys for bed fish. Immediate hammer. Got a 10.22, 9.2 and 8 on beds within 45 minutes! Was on fire.

This was a thrilling tournament.
On the first day noticed all the black blobs floating every where . Up here in Wisconsin that means the lake is turning over and it's not great for fishing . It's not to say you can't catch them it just makes it tougher !

Did you notice that you caught everything on your spinning rod on Day 1. line color and bait color. I would have relined a couple of rods and looked at similar color baits.
What knots do you guys use for your leaders on your spinning rods? I have been using a Uni to Uni knot and I keep breaking it. I know most use an FG for small mouth wasnt sure if you guys used something different for largemouth.

Hey Scott, after watching this video and as much as Matt was soldiering on and making light of his injury, what would you think about having someone in sports medicine on your team for situations just like this? I mean, it's best not to need one, but if an occasion like this ever happens, it's best that one was there for any of you traveling. Not just you, Scott Canterbury, or Matt, but anyone that may need that behind the scenes like McCoy, Jake, etc. Think about it and weigh if they option would be good to have on your team.
