Amazon has it today for $499 with a $150 coupon! So thats $349$
That's insane. And if you use my coupon code you'll save a bit more!
I’m 55 and watching and reading as much as I can about welding and DIY forge. They go hand in hand 😀
Check out our TIG welding video!!
I actually just ordered this welder on Amazon for $399 but I didn’t get gloves I forgot about that, Dave I would love to have those beautiful “Gloves” I did get the tig gun and a nice helmet but forgot to protect my hands!!
Wow . Although you’ve given a preview of this welder , the full explanation of the features just blows us away . This machine is like flying a jumbo jet with the ability to fly auto pilot or manually control . The modern tech in this machine is just way beyond what anyone would ever expect or imagine of a multi process welder . Yes , Lincoln , miller , Hobart , Esab , Yesswelder , and more have impressive features but this machine has everything a diy’er and an advanced user as well as a pro could benefit from and in actual real world , actually really use , for an incredible price . Some of us , maybe a lot of us are no different than yourself . Im not the welder you are but can get a job done but will say I personally believe this machine would make my life so much easier , and I started with a 90 amp HF Ac welder , like many have . Yes , I believe this welder is my destiny too . Those gloves are a blessing . I can’t tell you how many times after a welding session those HF gloves allowed my left hand to absorb lots of heat . I hold a welding torch like I were holding a 44 magnum . That’s to keep the wire aimed where I need it . If theses gloves keep your hand from getting sunburn , that’s well worth the price . Even if we would have to further invest in a tig torch and spool gun , you found a great deal . If you get this welder for the discounted price , your still below $500 cost , before tax , shipping and handling . Even if we had to buy it at $500 plus the tig torch and spool gun , tax and shipping , it’s still so much less in dollars than some of the bigger names , with so many features . Hope that Jess is getting well . Hope she may get her hands on this welder . I’ll bet she already read the instructions and is ready to fire it up . Yes , she would be the clincher to show how user friendly this machine is and ready to get you to work . When she does , please ensure she is wearing theses gloves to protect her . Thanks for a great demo of all the features . Looking forward to more future use of this machine , for every use you can think of . Remember Dave , you still stand a chance of losing this machine to Jess . She’ll love it I’m sure . Me , I think I would marry it if it were legal . Just kidding 😊
We are still going to get Jess working with the new welder! Maybe this weekend.
Great review of the Arc Captain Mig 200! Would like to have the
Gloves your giving away
I would love the gloves Dave
I Like & Have Subscribed I Took 2 Welding Courses at the Adult Ed. Have Same Leather Welding Gloves 45 yrs. Later!
Very interesting setup. The spot function alone makes it well worth it. If only the gloves were in my hands then it would be even better. :)
eastwood sells a mig spotweld tip. it has prongs on the tip to space it away from the metal making it easier to create a repeatable spot weld. I think it would be great with that spot weld function on this machine
I’ve been meaning to get new pair of welding gloves and winning a pair would be far better than having to pay for them.
No glove no love. Show me some love with the free gloves !
Dave I need the gloves to go with the welder that you welder that I’m going to win ! 😂😂😂
I am genuinely amazed by David's creation of such a fantastic video... I truly appreciate his love for Arccaptain's products and hope all viewers enjoy this video. Additionally, "gloves🙂!" if I end up being the winner, I will include some extra small gifts and then re-roll one lol.
I love this!
Yeah it’s to bad that the one I ordered a week ago and received today is old stock. By that I mean the cord coming out of the machine is a 120 volt plug on it. This is a dangerous setup!!! So apparently you are sending the new safer versions out to TH-cam influencers to sell your product and shipping out the old dangerous crap to the public that falls for the influencers sales pitch. Well you’re getting your welder back!!!👎👎👎
My Lincoln priduction called that "spot weld process" is called "stitch" totally adjustable.very kool for body work. Dandahermit
It's handy, especially if you're a newer welder I would think.
Dave, as soon as this vid ended I ordered this unit. I used ur code at checkout. I have the unit an am Very pleased with it, thank you kindly Terry.😊
I think it's very impressive for the low cost!! Good luck with it!
Is this better then the vevor ?
Nice set of gloves! Can't wait to try this out!
That’s a beautiful machine. ❤️
It works well.
The Gloves look nice . Dave thanks for showing us the Arccaptain.
Love this machine, I'm sure I'd love the gloves too!!
Well, I know what I'm asking for as a birthday present. The gloves would be a great accessory to have too.
It's a great machine! I'm very happy with it!
Gloves. I don't do alot of welding but I am impressed with this welder.
I really llke the way you do reviews. Very in depth yet you cover everything at a quite comfortable pace.
Thanks for the kind words!
Arccaptain gloves! Gotta be better than what I’m using now!
Gloves are the best. And so is this channel. Look forward to what's next.
I enjoyed the pictorial your present it real well looks like a nice machine and the gloves are nice too
Thank you!
Thats an awesome machine brotha!!! Great review!!!!!
Thank you
Loved the demo Dave!! Would love to have the gloves. I am going to Amazon to check out and probably purchase this machine.
Just bought one halfway through this video! Great review! Cant wait to use it!
I really like it. It's a good unit!
Thanks for the chance to win the gloves. This looks to be a very capable welder. Thanks for the video review.
Great video, Dave! Nice gloves.
Thanks!
thank you , gloves , iam seriously considering this unit, thank you again, gloves 😎
I'm still using this welder a lot. It's my go to unit now. I haven't found anything I don't like.
I LOVES those GLOVES!
Gloves. Awesome vid. Wow. Def better than my harbor freight
Ship them gloves to my door Dave...or better yet , get Jess to deliver them in person 😉 lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Dave, I would love to have those gloves. Looks like a great machine.
Hey Dave, they are some nice gloves you have there!!😊
Wow they took the gloves off and made a knock out machine, great video
Dave, I’ve got a place in my garage for those gloves. Appreciate the videos.
Man those gloves actually look really nice and I am buying a machine today! Was gonna go with the HF Titanium but as of finding this brand I’m sold!
Good choice!
Gloves are the bomb!
I've been looking at a Vevor, you have me thinking about the ArcCaptain now though.
Great review
I want the gloves
I have been looking for a welder just like this that is actually affordable and user friendly that will do a good job for making repairs not professional custom exhaust building but putting a muffler back on and I’m thankful that you did this review and for good measure the gloves would be nice to have.
Thanks for watching!
Ahhh what a shame. Dave i really want the gloves.
Thank you very much for such an excellent review. I have no idea how to weld. But I'm planning to buy some good tools. Well, I plan to build my little farm and build my own house. Although in Colombia labor can be considerably affordable. But unfortunately a simple welding repair of a door, a hinge or a corral guard, anything no matter how easy it is. It becomes a nightmare that ends up costing you 10 times more. because whoever knows how to weld does not have the welding machine, and whoever does have it does not have the welding material, and whoever can have it has to order it. Which ends up increasing the price for both the intermediary and the commission for each answer to each question you ask. And I took on the task of looking at products until I came to your video. and let me tell you that thanks to your perfect explanation. Order the MIG200. I have no idea how to weld two metals, but I have to learn by doing damage. That has always been and will be the best way to learn. Too bad I couldn't win the gloves. But let me tell you that I subscribed to your channel today January 21, 2024 and I will continue to take careful note of your very honest observations. Thank you very much, this equipment will get many people out of trouble who have difficult access to welding equipment.
You will catch on. This machine is very easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow!! Good luck!
I’m buying the 200 amp unit and accessories from Amazon.
But I’m feeling lucky today and would like to win those gloves.
Great video on a really good unit. All the best Mike.
Dave, Looks like a very nice machine. Would love to have those gloves.
New to welding. I could really use a pair of nice gloves.
Fantastic presentation! I'm subscribed. My ArcCaptain will be here tomorrow and I'm new to welding, 69 years old and I found this unit to be the best buy and easiest to operate. You sure demonstrated that and your excitement with this welder told me I had made the correct choice. I look forward to viewing any other videos you have made as well. I need to learn fast at my age, just never know. Haha. Thank you!
I am really impressed with the versatility of that machine, especially given the price point. Btw I could also use a new pair of gloves. Great review!
Thanks for the chance to win the gloves and for sharing the video!
gloves ... gloves ... gloves buddy !!! Love the review !
Awesome review Dave!! I would shower with those gloves on!
Those gloves sure would look good on my hands.
I agree on it being a great value. I've been using one for a couple of months. It is primarily used for Mig, but I've tried all of the functions and it performs well. This may be one of the best import welders on the market, for the money.
Agreed!
I am so glad to have found your channel. I am, at best, an amateur MIG welder needing all the help I can get. I recently bought the Arccaptain MIG 200 that this video is about. I found your review video to be extremely helpful. Through your review and detailed explanation I am much more confident that I will be able to weld better. Thank You.
Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words! I'm glad you found the video useful!
I enjoyed the review, nice job. Your channel is great, and I like your contact production. That welding machine seems quite impressive, love to see a long term review. I'll take a chance at those gloves. Let the prize wheel spin.
Thanks for the kind words!
Great video. I will definitely look into this welder. And, a great price. I also want the gloves!
Thanks!
Amazing video 📹
I think you get better performance on 220v, and i do have 220v in my garage. But i like that i can use it on 110v if I have to take it somewhere where 220v wasn't available
say dave i been welding for years , watch your video , looking around to upgrade , from my 140 amp , to higher amps , arc captain machine ,great full time DYI .thanks gloves awesome.
Thanks!
Gloves. Very good review and very good machine,
I just bought this welder and this video is awesome! Plus I want those gloves please 😊
I'm glad you liked our video. We really like the machine. Unfortunately a winner has already been picked but subscribe because we have more Arccaptain give aways coming up!
I have to unbox my Arccaptain Mig200 to review it as well. I tested their smaller Arc welder and their plasma cutter both worked out great. Cool video.
I've continued to use this welder as my go to unit. I'm still very pleased with it and it hasn't stumbled a single time.
Those are some fancy gloves!
I just purchased the same welder, but haven't gotten it out of the box yet! Your reminder about the warranty as me thinking I need to pop the seal and make sure I don't miss my chance, lol!
I really love this welder so far.
Love the videos on your channel. I am about ready to get the Vevor dent puller. I would also like the gloves to go with my old buzz box welder. Thanks
That little dent puller works well.
Great review! Would love the gloves
Hey Dave, I'll give them gloves a try
Thanks for review. I’m shopping as a recently retired teacher and know a full time DYI er and want to learn to weld. I like the gloves.
Thanks for checking out the video! It's a great machine. I use it constantly
It looks like Arccaptain has taken the gloves off.... In competing for reasonably priced welder market share! I actually have two other blue welders, but my MIG200 is currently on the way, as I was looking for a more portable option.
One question though: Other review videos (that I've seen) have shown a standard male 110V wire/plug coming out of the machine, with the adapter having a female 110v and male 220v- (Which would be really handy for running an extension cord from the shop when necessary) Although you don't show a close-up, your adapter appears to be opposite (female 220v- male 110v)...?
The machine is equipped with a 240v male plug. The adapter is indeed 240v female to 120v male.
@@madgingercustoms Thanks for checking. That must have been a recent change..... Although it won't be as handy, It was probably made for liability reasons. (I.e. - to prevent someone from plugging a 110v tool into a cord that was plugged into 220v). I guess if I really needed to, I could make my own adapter.
Thanks for all this info. You have confirmed my choice of this welder. A complete beginner and expecting argon mix gas bottle and wire delivery in 2 days time.
Excellent! You won't be disappointed. I truly love this machine.
Have you tried the Arccaptain Plasma cutter ?
@@madgingercustoms
I REALLY need those welding gloves. Mine are worn out.
Nice portable welder please allow me to enter to win that Arccaptain MIG 200 Multi Process Welder... I have to soon make up custom brackets for my OFF-grid home build!!! Liked# 174 and subscribed!!!
This giveaway is for welding gloves. Stay tuned for next month and we may give away a welder with Arccaptain!
Wow😂Dave! One of the best presentations I've watched for a very long time. No wonder Arc Captain sent this to you! You definitely did them a great service! I'm sure they are very pleased ! Ohhhhhhhh...and Btw...
I could really use those gloves....if not for welding....but for wrestling with my two 20 lb Siamese cats!😂😂😂😂...with very sharp claws!🤣🤣🤣
Best comment this month!
Great job on the review. I could use the gloves.👍👋
I could use a new pair of gloves. Your review style is very informative and entertaining. Keep up the good work. Looking forward for more releases from your channel.
Thanks!
you should try a plug weld with that spot function. the outer layer has a hole punched/drilled thru it to replicate a factory resistance spot weld. I'd like to see what that looks like.
I'll try to get that all done for you!
Good review. Quick question. In synergic, how do you set material thickness? Otherwise, is there a chart for settings, manual or otherwise?
In synergic mode you set your desired volts/amps and the machine dictates the wire speed. You can adjust +/-3 volts which is a lot depending on instance. On the inside panel where you put the wire there is a chart for starting points per thickness and type of material. It's metric so you'll need to convert if you're in the US. It's a great machine!
Gloves. Love the channel.
Hell ya thank you in advance love the show
The gloves are flexible !
Hi Dave, sure could use those gloves.😊
Dave, just ordered the 200. Used your code, thx bro you an Jess stay safe.
Dave, give me the gloves Very thorough review!
I have to see that spot weld aluminum.
Im restoring a 75 rolls royce shadow. Im removing the side chrome, door handles and chrome(stainless) molding down the hood center. The hood, trunk and doors are aluminum and the fenders an quarters are steel. the moldings have push in plastic clips that leave a 1/4" hole i have to fill in.
So a welder that can spot alum and steel would be great.
I'll see if I can throw a short together for you with the aluminum spot!
Would love the gloves
Gloves are sweet
The unit is impressive for a multi-process unit as some do multiple but won't do any of them very well. I'm glad you explain that the TIG takes practice and that your example is based on having lots of TIG experience. The TIG is very basic, but I agree with your opinion that it does the job for a person learning to TIG weld. Also, good that you pointed out on the display that you use 220V. 110V is fine for sheet metal, but anyone wanting to do thicker joints like you show in your examples would absolutely want 220V. That spot function is a neat feature. I've done it with carbon rods in an AC, buzz-box, stick welder, but using the DC MIG makes a lot of sense. Does it keep a constant, specific amount of wire out of the tip when doing the spot function?
You can actually set burn back in the sub menus. I didn't go into sub menus because the video is already very long! But you can adjust burn back, pre and post purge and a few other parameters.
those would be a great pair of gloves
I bought an arccaptain 6 in 1 welder I'm going to need a great pair of gloves
Im a old stick welder 67 and still welding need good gloves
Dave, I want the gloves please!
Hi there Big Boss, Im a pest control technician and wear 14 mm Gloves to do my jobs but I am gonna start welding school in a few weeks and I would like to win those 16 mm Gloves for my new profession 😁👍🙏
Thanks dude I could really use a set of gloves
thanks for making this video. I like the gloves. Have you used it on 110V at all or just 220V.
Haven't tried it on 110. Maybe I'll do a quick review on that. Thanks.
Gloves pal.. I just bought one.. hope it works well..😂
I’ve been needing good gloves.
I would get one but the lift start is a big no go Joe.
They have an AC/DC TIG. They just sent it out to me. I'll let you know what I think of it.
Can I still get some gloves? Nice video, Amazon shows an upcoming deal in 21 hrs on this welder, never seen that before.
They run some crazy deals on Amazon! Use my link. I'm not sure you can use my discount code and their coupon though.
Good job with gloves
