Like that we need connecting city buses from Salem Central bustand to Airport... Atleast 1hr/1.5hr early from bus stand also pickup from airport to bus stand..

Better to take train or bus for these kind of short distance travel. It only takes 3.5 to 4 Hrs.. for Bangalore to Salem journey. Travelling in flight consumes more time and cost compared to travelling by bus or train. Anyways good to know about these kinds of flights..

T2 terminal do have domestic terminal. If Salem airport upgraded with night operations then the route will definitely be a hit for all who want to reach Salem through connecting flight.
14.10 i too lost a scissor at Bangalore airport. I was on my way to Guwahati from Chennai via Bangalore. Chennai airport Indigo counter staff said the gate is closed and refused to accept unaccompanied luggage. They allowed me to take my luggage as the cabin bag. I wanted to book that suit case as i was carrying a scissor and shaving blade. Wonderful experience. In international travel, they don't allow water bottles. Empty bottles you can carry and fill them after security check.

Few things like scissor, knifes are not allowed. This check happens in all airports. Even I faced the same situation in Hyderabad airport.
10:39 @Naveenkumar bro just a correction.. Looks like T2 both operates for international and domestic flights and not sure about T1.. Because recently on Sep 30 2023 i took a flight to Dehradun from T2 only departure... Don't know why they haven't kept dedicated terminals for domestic and international..

What is the frequency of the airport trains. In Chennai for every 5 minutes you can get a Metro train or city train during peak hours.

Kilambakkam bus terminus is located beyond Vandalur and people of Chennai adjust to it. But when it comes to the distance of the airport from Bengaluru city......the same people have probs with it😅. People who have the means to travel by flight take the Vayu vajra AC airport bus from various parts of the city and it costs Rs250- 350......no one travels by that train to the airport. I do accept that no govt has realised the necessity of a proper metro connectivity to the airport even after so many years.....but that DEMU train is also a flop especially when it comes to boarding an international flight. All this inconvenience and increased distance has been caused due to the shifting of the airport from HAL to Devanahalli which was unavoidable
U departed at 8.30 from blr city and reached Salem nearly 4pm nearly 7.30 hrs... Hope u know bus take max 4.5 hrs..
