Hola !
Welcome guys. As a general rule you should try to avoid tap water when abroad. Even in the case it is drinkable, it contains different minerals that could upset your stomach. Of course if you are staying a longer period of time, you can try incorporating it little by little and that should be ok.
That's because the vast majority of the locals do not buy veggies/ produce at a supermarket, they buy it a verduleria which are everywhere throughout the city and ran mostly by people from Bolivia.
@@aeyandmel Sure, if you buy it in the supermarket. You have to go to the Verduleria and the carniceria. Never buy in the supermarket because it's easily twice as expensive than the verduleria.
Hi guys, nice video, welcome to Argentina, greetings

ohh not sure if we like the taste of chlorine but thank you for sharing that it is safe! we are enjoying our stay so far 😬
That has to be the largest grocery store I’ve ever seen. Pretty huge selection of ice cream and meat.
We were also amazed by the size of this grocery store!

That steak looks good! US$14 for those veggies at the end is crazy!
Yeah it was so good, but was surprised how costly the produce is here in Argentina!
Good morning!Argentina went through serious economic problems, and is only now recovering. Maybe that's the reason for the prices.
@@aeyandmel Yeah its not the best time to visit Argentina at this moment. Its all because of inflation

Prices went crazy this year. Tap water is totally safe, but not as tasty as the bottled ones.
Yes, it has been quite an adjustment!
17k for just that? That grocery store definitely ripped them off.
