I've worked with children for 15 years. Children are, cognitively, narcissistic. So when a person who is seen as a trusted figure in their lives says if you do a thing, you'll win a fancy car or money, they'll do it because they will assume their odds are greater than most subconsciously. While that might sound harmless, this is actually predatory behaviour, and is really quite awful to see on mass scale like this
We live in 2024, kids have cell phones, which means there is a responsibility to with hold. It's a privilege to have a phone, so if those 15 year olds get baited into ANY TH-camR'S bullshit they will learn the hard way. That is how life is, it isn't easy and some lessons are learned that way. I remember when I was 15, doing dumb shit like jumping out of a tree and getting injured, I didn't hear parents yelling "TREES SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED"
@@Kanoogyeah 7 years old Timmy need to know that the world is bad. To be real, I know it is easy to blame the parents, but if the parents see a guy doing good stuff like building wells and helping dogs they won’t really think that the guy would be scamming/ conducting lotteries on their kids. The blame goes mainly to the creators for taking advantage of the kids innocences/naivety not saying that the parents are guiltless.
@Kanoog He's still doing scummy garbage tho. You say that as if it is some sort of actual defense, but it's just not. Also the tree comparison is awful. Trees are a plant that just grow in nature naturally and are necessary for our survival. Mister Cheese is a youtuber that likes deceiving kids for money. Also, parents usually tell their kids to not jump out of a tree because that is obviously dangerous. But a youtube guy going "wow, look at me giving away free stuff" is not really a thing that is obviously a danger. And even then, why do we blame the parents instead of the guy exploiting kids? Like you know, the guy actively doing harm and not the unsuspecting parent just living their life?

I remember, a few years ago, a former Mr Beast employee (whose name & channel I, unfortunately, can’t remember at the moment) made claims about how terrible of a person Mr Beast is when the cameras aren’t on, &-I swear-the ENTIRETY of the internet absolutely dogpiled this guy for making such claims about the angelic 👼 Mr Beast. And I remember thinking to myself, at the time, “ just watch. In a few years time, it’ll come out that this guy-who is being totally lambasted right now-was, in fact, telling the truth all along”.
in my experience the first person to tell the truth will always be the first victim of the lies. But the second person to tell the truth will be heralded as a hero. A friend of mine nearly had her life ruined for blowing the whistle on a group of people. 2 years later, What she blew the whistle on is now "common knowledge" and the whistleblowers after her are heralded as heroes. She is still marked as an evil horrible person because no one wants to admit they were wrong to shame her, and wrong to believe lies from the people she called out. That original person has been marked as a bad person, and to save face, no one will admit they wronged them.
Sadly most of those people wont accept the fact that they have been conned into making him insanely wealthy. Its easier to be conned than to accept the fact that you have been conned.
I honestly don't take salty ex employees too seriously. Sounds to me like he's bitter, and the unblinking intro with his eyes popping out of his head just rubbed me the wrong way. Yeah, Mr. Beast is an unapologetic capitalist, so what. The American way for the past 200 years has been hand over fist, ruthless, and honestly quite brutal. If people could see what their favorite politicians were doing behind closed doors, they wouldn't bat an eye. Stop pretending to be a bunch of saints and open your eyes to the world you live in.

Why do you think nearly every billionaire or corporation donates to charities they can write off?
You must not know what a tax write off is. If he spends 1m on a video and writes it off he doesn't get that million back from taxes. Not even close. It's a net loss no matter what. That would be a massive loophole lmfao. He also cannot write off property or cars he gives away unless he "gives it away" to someone who will use it for work inside Mr. Beasts companies. Well here is the thing about narcissistic manipulative people, numerous of them have terrible social skills. Elon Musk, Jeff bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are great examples of this. All three are narcissistic manipulative people and when he sees them give interviews, you can automatically tell there are socially awkward. They talk in a strange way, they laugh like they are nervously or uncomfortable about something. They act how you would expect an introverted teenager to act like if you were to talk to them(the introverted teenager.) and given that mrbeast was literally a teenager when he started youtube. There is a good chance he was an introverted teenager and now is just an introverted adult(like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos are.)
I also though about the fact MrBeast might not have even given out anything with the orders. The people at home will just be like, “aw, I didn’t get it,” and they’ll never know who got it.
I think the issue with people like Mr Beast is that for some reason, "Charity" and "Being nice" lowers our moral standards of people. He's literally bought his way into lying and cheating everyone but made it look like he was being good

Both of these crimes have video proof, and you can maybe dismiss the second crime since the guy accepted to complete the challenge-he still didn't win what was promised-. I was in a MrBeast video at one point. One of his gaming videos, the one where a hundred people simulate society in minecraft and then the four factions fight for territory. I was on the winning team, and spent hours mining and then fighting to gear up and help bring down the opposing team. Was one of the few who didn't end up dying, as well. Our team had a notable advantage in that we had villagers, but it was still a hard fought victory. But for winning, the only person who actually received a prize was the 'leader' of the team, whom I only spoke to once or twice, and he was to distribute the winnings as he deemed fit. Thus, he split it between a fraction of the players he was friends with, leaving most of the team with nothing. Considering what's been revealed in this video, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the four 'leaders' in that video (who were pre-chosen) were all friends/family/employees, and that none of them would've shared with any of the actually random people who joined the contest. So that's about when I personally stopped caring about the guy, leaving distributing the prize to a supposedly random person on the team instead of just...splitting it with everyone who participated on the winning team. Also his chocolate bars taste terrible. At least the peanut butter chocolate one did. Very spoiled milk tasting. Actually more upset about that since at least the Minecraft thing was fun, the chocolate bar was just a waste of money. xD

That’s the funny part of control: we always think we have it, but we always realize we never did until it’s far too late to fix it. Same with any foothold in worldly adoration and gain. The illusion only dissipates after the consequences of following it have occurred, and that is what has caused chain reactions like this since the internet’s birth.
The "trust me and you will receive wealth" is the perfect example of the start of a dystopian capitalist system. Like the trauma teams in Cyberpunk where youre saved if youve paid for it. You don't pay for his videos but in the future perhaps he will achieve such a system.
Until you people realize you CAN'T get famous unless you got some dirt under your fingernails that these people's "agents" (also known as "handlers") can use against them to keep them in control, then you all will continue to see this happen; over and over until the end of time.

As a content creator… or, at least… when I am moreso of one, I’ll probably simply say (on occasion, not every video), “Subscribe… or don’t. I don’t really care, do whatever you’re happy with.” That’s basically the Kleric mentality, too. I think he mentioned maybe once; believe during a Q/A stream… “Well, you can subscribe… but I’m not making you. You don’t have to subscribe.” He also said once, “Raid Shadow Legends has been putting banner ads on my videos, here’s a free AdBlocker.” Of course, TH-cam no longer allows AdBlock, considering they ALSO make some revenue from ads… but hey, that’s quite the opposite of most creators. *The Standard TH-camr:* Maybe brings up subscribers every few weeks. *The Repeater:* Still a standard TH-camr, but brings up subscribers every video. *The Beggar:* Asks for subscribers CONSTANTLY and always tells wants more. *The Content Farmer:* Posts videos so frequently, they might as well be a bot… and they typically are, too. *The Fear Monger:* Says something bad will happen if you don’t subscribe. (Example: “I’ll delete your Minecraft account.”) *The Giveaway Host:* Constantly runs random giveaways that are most likely fake. These people just want subscribers. They can’t check if you’re subscribed unless you’re public, and they can’t tell who all likes, let alone who has notifications. *The Scammer:* Says they have free stuff, but then links you to a website that requires your credentials. *The Time Scammer:* Offers digital content in a never-ending stream. I should know; I once stayed on a Robux one to monitor and see any signs of fraud aside from the fishiness of it. No shared usernames appeared onscreen, and the user’s Robux balance randomly reset to 8M when they reached 2M. *The Bot:* I need not explain this… you all know all too well, I’m sure. “Claim your gift!” They use a similar name, a circled V to imitate the check, and copy the PFP. “Only real [TH-camr] fans can like this!”, “I am 0. I get older each like.”, “I love that part where [scenario] happened.”, and so many more. We all know them… used to be Rubux bots, now they’re “LIVE NOW! CLICK BELOW!” Inappropriate bots. TH-cam has left these undetected for so long, and I’m sick of them appearing. And let’s also not forget the fact that not only do their PFPs tend to violate TOS completely, but they also have a tendency to say something about a different video, and sometimes will harass a new channel if undetected for so long. Finally, we have the Kleric mentality. “Well, I mean… it’s your choice. It’s not like it affects me. You do you.” I love him for that.

To be fair, It depends on the system and opportunities a person is working with, as it is possible to be a good person and make money. It happens, but is never advertised as no honest person who cares about their own well being would put up signs for mass audiences that they have money. In the case of social media however, yeah, in most cases I would highly doubt it isn’t done by nefarious means.
@@justabearbrowsingyoutube4968 the fact that the most important people in our societies usually are closer to poor than rich should tell you something. Intent is irrelevant. People dont mean to do so many things but do it anyway, knowingly ,because of their own wants. Anyone who does " good" knows that true good costs money. You cant get rich with doing true good. True good costs money. Helping the poor, helping animals etc. If someone is making money, enough to become rich, its part of their business plan. And the system we work in is capitalism. The whole point is to make as much money as possible, with little regard to impact on society and the natural world. Thats how we now deal with housing crisis , low wages, bad enviornmental outcomes ( incl climate collapse due to overproduction and overconsumption) . I get we want to believe the world is a fair place. That the rules are fair and that the poor just didnt work hard enough to become a Mr Beast. That people like him are good people just because they do something that is seen as good, his reasons why ( and it obviously being to make money and become famous) dont seem matter have mattered till now, even though he was pretty honest about his goals of becoming the biggest youtuber. And thats the problem Look around. Stuff is not going well. Thats not an accident. Its the system and its insentives of greed, of using people for personal gain and about image. That's legit how I felt this was a scam since DAY one. I've always told some people around since 2019 that something feels shady. I couldn't believe how so much of the internet was brainwashed. I legit found a message from late 2023 (not old enough, but still works) that I made it very clear "Someday he'll be called out for your BS, you'll see" everyone there told: what proof you have? you just don't like him Yep, here it is.
The 1,000,000 hide and seek where he told 9 of them they cant hide in the ceiling so the one guy would definitely win is devious as hell. I remember watching that video so it really shocked me to find that out.
Not gonna lie, totally expected from the Beast Crew. Jimmy, being a huge philanthropist, is a way for him to hide the skeletons in his closet. No one is THAT generous without blood on your hands. It's basically him shouting 'I'm good, I'm nice. Look at me giving away all this money. I can't be a bad person, trust me'
Philanthropy? He is 90% giving money to his cronies and yes-men. He is creating the false pretext that he is changing thousands of lives. Definition of a crook and scam artist.
Can I say that even though all of this is surfacing and Mr Beast is having a lot of backlash, nothing will happen. He’s the largest TH-camr on the platform. If SSSniperwolf got away with what she did (and she has like idk 30-60k) then the BIGGEST TH-camr is gonna get off Scott free like nothing ever happened. I don’t think he’ll be demonetized or cancelled, or deleted, or anything. He’s such a large part of the TH-cam community and has his own company he’s basically untouchable now.
And that's a shame, even though it's probably true. Most of his audience is, as has been said children and most aren't developed enough to even grasp the serioussnes of the situation. Which does mean that most of neither his viewer or subscribercount will take a serious hit. It will probably temporarily stunt his growth, but in the long run, his channel will continue to grow and exploit children.
well SSSniperwolf is a woman so there are certain advantages to her case compared to MrBeast (a white male) siding with a trans PDF and all the other shit coming out
We do it's called being raised by a Father, but maybe only 10% of the country cares about Fathers, so this will all continue to grow into a much bigger problem.
I think we're safe there...I hope. Dx I feel like most of those older gamer guys have pretty healthy relationships with their audience instead of creepy. But we never know ig...lol.
There is only one TH-camr who I trust above everyone else to have not done wrong, and I'm not saying who. But if you want a perspective of popularity, he has around 300,000 subscribers. But I'm not saying who. Edit: I also equally trust The Theorizer. The Theorizer and this one other youtuber with ~300,000 subs are the only two I genuinely trust.
My kids have watched him for years. I sat with them watching something like "Winning all the Games at Six Flags(?)." Towards the end of the video all of the prizes are in a massive pile and he says he's "donating them to charity" or something. It became immediately obvious to me that the Beast crew had been given free reign to "win" repeatedly by the Amusement Park in exchange for free advertising for said park.
@mathewcurtis8484 It's also dishonest. Stop glazing Jimmy, man, it's really a bad look right now. Dude has always been a disorganized money hungry jerk, the dam has just finally broken.
I thought he was odd in a wrong way. I defenetely never followed him because of that, I knew he wasnt giving away stuff for the sake of it and I was aware of the sponsors. He never seemed to me like a genuine good guy more than a persona. I wasnt aware of all that shit that came out recently but Im glad he has been caught, yikes.
I always thought he is at best autistic and his hiperfixation is TH-cam. At worst he is a sociopath (I'm thinking about how there is no light in his eyes and how he smiles looks fake) who knows very well how TH-cam works, is very good at numbers and seeing what gives profit and what not and exploits them.
Not to be that person, but does anybody else remember when Jacksepticeye literally brought up how he believed MrBeast approach to TH-cam was negative and would have a negative impact on not only up-and-coming TH-camrs, but children? I believe it was during one of those interview videos where he’s sitting down with like a lie detector attached to him.

Even charitable videos that do not make the money back in Ad Revenue... that is a HUGE tax write off for his company making it worth it to spend the money on charity as well as stupid videos and fun things.
Why do you think nearly every billionaire or corporation donates to charities they can write off?
Yeah that’s a pretty stupid argument given he puts huge amounts of money in a video to get bigger income from it
That is not how write-offs work though
You must not know what a tax write off is. If he spends 1m on a video and writes it off he doesn't get that million back from taxes. Not even close. It's a net loss no matter what. That would be a massive loophole lmfao. He also cannot write off property or cars he gives away unless he "gives it away" to someone who will use it for work inside Mr. Beasts companies. Spending money for the sole purpose of writing it off is not beneficial at all and the IRS would not recognize his videos as charitable donations.

@@Am-Techy Well, the cease and desist letter was with regards to an NDA. However, any good lawyer worth their salt will tell you that you can break an NDA if its a crime. The crimes of course being the illegal lotteries and the guy they tortured and never gave him the money they promised for completing the "challenge".

So many people said this was coming, inevitable even, and we were called haters and cynics. Nobody without skeletons tries this hard to look like a Saint.
I am ready for Mr. Beasts downfall. I never really watched him too much and never cared about him. Always knew something was off about the guy.
...So, everyone *with* skeletons? Huh?
For years I’ve had a feeling his house of cards was gonna fall down. There’s so much off about him. He creeps me out. He has cult leader-vibes or something. I secretly judge every person that mentions him in a positive way.
Yup. A tiger doesn't need to tell you he's a tiger.
I remember having a whole army attack me in the comments section when I said this guy had skeletons in his closet. I always knew he was a POS, I'm just happy now everyone knows.
As a content creator… or, at least… when I am moreso of one, I’ll probably simply say (on occasion, not every video), “Subscribe… or don’t. I don’t really care, do whatever you’re happy with.”
That’s basically the Kleric mentality, too. I think he mentioned maybe once; believe during a Q/A stream… “Well, you can subscribe… but I’m not making you. You don’t have to subscribe.”
He also said once, “Raid Shadow Legends has been putting banner ads on my videos, here’s a free AdBlocker.”
Of course, TH-cam no longer allows AdBlock, considering they ALSO make some revenue from ads… but hey, that’s quite the opposite of most creators.
(Example: “I’ll delete your Minecraft account.”)
*The Giveaway Host:* Constantly runs random giveaways that are most likely fake.
You do you.”
I love him for that.
We got Mr beast downfall before Gta 6💀

How to bake 166 100-200 pound muffins in a giant oven.
People really forget basics. No one makes that much money being a good person.
And thats the problem
Look around. Stuff is not going well. Thats not an accident. Its the system and its insentives of greed, of using people for personal gain and about image. Dont fall for this again . The idea that some rich people became rich because of good is just fantasy. They took advantage of something, provide something important for too high of a price for most of the world etc etc.
Intent is irrelevant. Impact is not.

Nothing TH-cam will never ban him because he makes the most money for them they probably wipe their ass with money at this point@@kwagiajhYT
And that's a shame, even though it's probably true. Most of his audience is, as has been said children and most aren't developed enough to even grasp the serioussnes of the situation. It will probably temporarily stunt his growth, but in the long run, his channel will continue to grow and exploit children.
