So happy for Alex Kidd's return, Even if it's only for this one game! They really treated the source material well, and the punching bosses have certainly received major upgrades! 100/10
@@BlazerYZ The arcade versiob of Fantasy Zone 1 and Fantasy Zone 2: The tears of Opa-Opa have been released for the 3DS with widescreen support and some other new additions thanks to Studio M2. I highly recommed these versions, specially FZ2.
Yeah, like Kitsunedos said, Opa opa from Fantasy Zone was SEGA's first official mascot. And technically speaking, if you count non-game characters, Professor Asobin could be thought of as their first real mascot, followed by Professor Playor, and then Opa opa, Alex Kidd, and finally Sonic the Hedgehog.
I loved this game, it was a great homage to the original game. My only complaint is that the game isn't long enough, I want more Alex Kidd!!. Hopefully we get a Alex Kidd DX part II; probably won't happen but, I can always dream.
All best Alex kidd games: 1. Alex kidd in shinobi world 2. Alex kidd in miracle world 3.alex kidd in enchanted Castle 4. This remake 5. Alex kidd the Lost stars The worst games: 1. Alex kidd High tech 2. Alex kidd BMX trial. Only 5 games are best and 2 are worst!
@@JefoneChiu , the game is devilishly difficult and more so if you play it without infinite lives. When the bosses ask for revenge at the end of the game, the combat, in addition to rock paper or scissors, has a part in which they attack you.
Chokinna boss... The reason he looks like a schissor is becouse he allways use that in JAN KEN BON.... So allways use the rock and u win... I just found out lol playing it on ps5 now
@@nikeneon3188 Miracle World was the debut game of Alex Kidd. Designed to be Sega's mascot and compete with Mario at the time, Jan-Ken-Poh was Alex Kidd's main gimmick to differentiate from Mario. It was the 8 bit era, and having Alex attack with a weapon or jump in the head of the enemies would be him feel like any other videogame hero of the time. The janken + RPG elements with the money and items made Alex stand out. Sure it never became as popular as Mario or Sonic, but the SMS and Alex Kidd are very beloved in places like Brazil.
Um lixo esse jogo. Chefes soltando meteoros, raios e o caralho a quatro e o Alex Kidd com esse soquinho de merda só. Se tivesse barrinha de sangue. ... Mas não. O inimigo encosta a unha do dedo em vc e vc morre. Uma bosta esse jogo

Alex Kidd was always cooler than Sonic.

@Mason Wilcox. I agree. They should make a part two. Maybe they could add more DLC levels.
Maybe DX Part 2 can be a remake of Alex Kidd: Enchanted Castle.
Would be cool if they do this with Alex Kidd in Shinobi World.

Is there any strategy to the Rock Paper Scissors segments, or did you just get lucky?
They are fixed. Same outcome everytime just replay the game and memories the pattern
