I am a professional qualified nail technician and I strongly advise you don't go back to your usual tech/ salon. Glue would not cause an infection. Poor hygiene practices would!

it could be over exposure to the chemicals on the skin
@@ellieanderson8225 you are correct over exposure can cause reactions however this would require topical medication. She was given antibiotics which fights bacterial infections not reactions.
I've got the same problem. Got them done 1.5 weeks ago (acrylics) now my thumbs nail beds hurting. Thanks to this video I checked closer and saw that the skin is red and started peeling. Do you think I can stop it by desinfect and clean it 😭I don't want to take them off before nye lol....

Saffron did you get cellulitis infection in your cuticles? Soak your fingers in hot salt water? I had that once and that fixed it - no antibotics at the time

The same thing happened 2 both my nails about 3 weeks ago and aswell I was on antibiotics 4 d week then had 2 go 2 d hospital 2 get my nails removed and I only had them on 4 about 3 days 🇮🇪❤️

I've had an infected finger for weeks. Kills so bad. although i had to have iodine on my finger for it to heal but it still hasn't healed. since July its been infected well it healed and then came back. Not really had much help from my doctor tho.
