I admire you because you have built that truck by yourself, I know many things about trucks, because I have been a trailer driver for many years and I could not do it the same or better than you, I am from Colombia and I live in Canada and I have only met a person worthy of admiration and those people are you.

I used Dirks door seals on my 1994 379 as well and I really like how well they fit. Mine shrunk slightly over time leaving a small gap where the two ends met. I like the way you overlapped the seal! I love your build, thanks for the videos!
I came here a little over 6 months ago via Twin Sticks garage and I love the style of content you both make. I really enjoy how knowledgeable and to the point you are about things. I have really learned a lot from the channel. I love seeing Old Pete's out on the road and trying to figure out if its a 359, 379, etc. Keep up the great content.

When we did my freightshaker, I went with the fatmat and spray on undercoating on the floor and sleeper walls. If I do another truck in the future, I will use roll on bedliner, the undercoating doesn't atomize well and was more expensive per can than a gallon of herculiner. Great vid Ezra, you are a one man wrecking crew.

Funny question: Do real men read instructions? Hehehe ! My answer is : Yes, when it’s convenient. Hehehe! Quite impressive process. I just might use the liner and noise sheets in my old REO. Between you and twin sticks I am learning quite a lot and is making me think that I could possibly do this as well I know its not easy by any stretch but from the looks of both of you guys videos as long as you have a bit of a mechanical mind it is doable
The air line letting go is always fun, I assume the spray in sound deadening is like spray foaming your house. You get a tighter seal, it gives the surface some extra rigidity.
Try a little pickle juice for hiccups or cramps.... always worked for me, roadside diner food does a number on the stomach and for me, it was eat some decent food or skip as they flat could ruin my day. Tight as that door gasket was, thinking they might of used some silicone hair spray to keep it on the clip as it wore down. Can feel mighty permanent if there long enough. Old truck aught to keep you in Z's at night... of course a small dog will help too if your into that. I named my Cocker Spaniel "KW" an most everyone loved him, tolerated me/LOL. Hard life just slamming gears all day and night. I was more of a night driver anyway as about nine to ten in morning, I could hardly keep my eyes open.
Lol Those hiccups are always a pain and usually come at the worst times , but a great way to get rid of hiccups is to suck in all the air you can until your not able to and then take a drink of something and usually it’ll make you burp , if it doesn’t work the first time repeat and I promise you they’ll be gone , but sometimes it helps if you drink something that’s going to help make you burp like a soda or beer when doing it especially if the hiccups are really bad and strong !! 👊👍
That lizardskin lays down and sprays really nice. I always wondered how well it worked, but it looks excellent. The kit is really nice too, with the gun, stirrer, etc. I like the new intro to the video man, very cool. As for the hiccups, they are annoying as hell, and I could feel the frustration. What works for me may work for you to make them stop. Hold your breath for as long as you can and then swallow. Usually takes mine right away. This old Pete is one of my favorite trucks on here, and I can't wait to see those panels come back from the Day Cab company!!! You rock dude! It will be worth all of the time and effort. Nothing beats a well sealed, quiet cab. Well aside from straight pipes of course 😂

i was a good 3ft from the fenders, it cleans up easy with soap and water as long as you get it before it drys

That sleeper hinge is capable of waking up the next trucker in the truck stop. You can always mask it by pulling a reefer.
