Driving my cattle through the woods to a farm I'm leasing I had the same darn thing and a few of the calves turned around and knocked my poly wire out it was a dang mess I'll tell ya. I'm still not super seasoned in making long cattle drives so I was getting pretty wound up. Your cattle look absolutely incredible great message enjoy every day.

Beautiful group of calves! Was reading Voisin’s “Grass Productivity” this morning, fascinating. Also saw a video on Sardinia’s (island off coast of Italy) problem of too many young people leaving for greener pastures, but they have beautiful countryside. If they managed the grazing they could do really well. Sardinia is one of those Blue Zones. Many people over 90 still very sharp.

I get jealous when I watch these cattle videos. I quit farming in the early 70s. Raised pure bred Yorkshire hogs. Fat hogs stayed at 10 cents a pound for a year. Then got some disease problems. Got tired of working for no return. Then got hooked up with some investors to try it again in late 70’s, early 80’s. High interest rates were more than we could handle. A cattle herd was in our master plan, along with 500 head sow farrow to finish operation. Spent most of my working career in Agribusiness. Never give up my love for those cows.
