This was a fun watch that just popped into my feed after reviewing some cosplay videos. I had a similar experience about 6 years ago. I bought a Capt. America costume from some shop in China (aren't they all there?) :) Gave them all my measurements, was super excited when it finally showed up. Turned out to be the biggest P.O.S. ever 😔 Ok, to be fair, the jacket was ok. But, it was a bit tight in the chest and the waste didn't taper down, so when suited up it looked like my waste was wider than my chest! lol...What a super hero I became! And the pants, this was the worst part. The material used was like a polyester plastic. I have no idea. Basically, it was fairly rigid, making it difficult to move in it...and the knee pads (built into the pants) were stiched in so low they covered my shins. And I had about 8 inches of extra length to the pants hanging beyond my feet. Seriously, I gave you my measurements! I contacted the shop and they told me I just needed to adjust them!!!!!!! 😡 I didn't pay $200+ to do this myself! Unfortunately, I'm not gifted in the art of cosplay, so I tossed the costume and didn't wear it 😥 I nearly swore off online cosplay costumes from that day. Until this past month. I tried Capt. America again and HO LEE COW! This shop did such a good job! I haven't had to change nearly anything! Anyway, sorry for the long story. Maybe one day I'll take the next step in making my own stuff, but for now I still buy pretty much everything and then just adjust as needed (as long as the adjustments are minor). Thanks for posting this mess! It has somewhat inspired me to figure out how to make some unnecessary (but wanted) changes I've been considering to both Capt. and Starlord 😁 Woo! Playing dress up (I just do it on Halloween) is so fun 😆 haha P.S. You did a great job with all the changes and you looked amazing!
Gosh. I need to try something like this. I'm a teacher, so I get summers off and really want to do a convention for once and this type of cosplay is dope! (the downside is I cannot sew lol)
That’s cool but did you know the dodge hellcat has supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8 engine comes standard on the Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat. With 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque, the competition doesn't stand a chance.
Seeing this entire process as it was happening was a whole rollercoaster. I’m so glad the flap worked out and it looks so much better
Looks fantastic design
Amazing job !
Can someone give me the description of Homelander's outfit, in complete details, like the parts?
