It has a population of 277 million (240 million of whom are muslims, which is the highest number of muslims in any single country.) Exactly! Islam is the TRUTH because the message of it has always existed since the creation of the universe. Islam is the ONLY faith which is NOT named after a Person, a Place, or People. It’s a VERB, a way of life. All the previous Prophets in the Torah and Bible were Muslims…
      - The word for God in Hebrew is Eloah. This was the language of Prophet Musa (Moses)
      - The word for God in Aramaic is Alah. This is the language of Prophet Isa (Jesus)
      - The word for God in Arabic is Allah. This was the language of Prophet Muhammad.
Peace and Blessings be Upon Them All. They all worshipped and prayed to the same Creator in the same way also…
      Moses and Aaron
      Numbers 20:6
6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them."
      Jesus
      Matthews 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed"
      Muhammad
      Holy Quran 31:22
22 “And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.”
      Holy Quran 22:77
77 “O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.”
      Holy Quran 2:43
43 “And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].”
I will greet you the same way as Moses and Jesus in the Bible greeted people by saying Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You) in Islam…
Moses in Hebrew - Sholem Aleichem (Peace Be With You).
      Jesus In Aramaic…
      John 20:21
21 "Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!”
      Luke 24:36
36 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
Muhammad in Arabic - Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You).
It has always been One God, One Message, and One Humanity.
May Allah GUIDE those who are sincere and honest before it’s too late for them.

@@AlujaBINGAbsolutely! Contrary to the lies and distortions against Islam by the establishment media and now by the so called "alternative media" as well, Islam is NOT a new religion. In fact, Jesus and all the other Prophets in the Bible were Muslims. Here's the proof…
      1. Islam = Submission/Peace.
      2. Muslim = One who submits to God peacefully.
      3. Prostration = The ultimate way to submit to your Creator.
      4. Muslims Prostrate by placing their heads on the ground to worship God.
So how did Jesus and all the other Prophets prayed to their Lord in the Bible? Let’s take a look...
      5. Jesus
      Matthews 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed"
      6. Abraham
      Genesis 17:3
3 "And Abraham fell on his face: and God talked with him."
      7. David
      1 Samuel 20:41
41 “David got up from the south side of the stone and bowed down three times, with his face to the ground.”
      8. Moses and Aaron
      Numbers 20:6
6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them."
      9. Joshua
      Joshua 7:6
6 “…fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening. The elders of Israel did the same, and sprinkled dust on their heads.”
      10. Solomon
      2 Chronicles 7:3
3 "…they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, ‘He is good; his love endures forever.”
      11. Ezra
      Nehemiah 8:6
6 "Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground."
      12. Revelation 7:11
11 "All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God."
Muslims are just continuing what all the previous Prophets and Messengers in the scriptures did by submitting to Allah only.
May Allah continue to have MERCY us, continue to PROTECT us, continue to FORGIVE us, continue to GUIDE us, and continue to BLESS us.

Exactly, and islam means "Someone who submits his wills to God"... if someone else ask, what religion before moses? Anyone can answer that?... if the believe is believing to one god, the god who create the world and the heavens... i tell you, in arabic its called islam. Bcos in the quran, god tells us that he sends a prophet& messenger to every nation... and the message is the same, its worshipping the one god. In aramaic jesus language its called elah, in arabic its allah... and now, christians called god by jesus. While jesus is a man in aramic is iso *isa in arabic *something like that... #you can help me if something wrong... isa-> ieshua-> jesus... what the, if you ask someone by name who iso/isa?, everyone else will says *who is that?... i dare to all the christians, from now on use the real name of jesus and his god... you can use a translation to know the teaching of god, but when you calling god, use their real name from the scripture.. don't change their name. The later generation will confused, and the blind faith will follow.. when the faith become thinner every year and generation, the time when ppl will become an atheist will growing larger.

My two cents: if you want to know about Islam, ask a knowledgeable Muslim, the non muslim source will often have mistakes whether intentionally or unintentionally. Because they are not well versed with 1) Quran, it’s clarification, explanations, etc. adding to that learning Quran in Arabic with meaning and (in context) is utmost important 2) need to understand Islamic history and Muslims’ daily life in those days. 3) Hadith, how they are collected, categorized, etc. 4) knowledgeable Muslims will not give you his own perspective but from the perspective of Quran, Hadith, ijma and qias (last 3 depending on the first).

In My country Algeria 🇩🇿 in North Africa
The war between the Muslim crusaders and the indigenous people ( the amazigh ) lasted 300 years until the Muslims won but they didn’t force the people to be Muslim , our ancestors many of them accepted Islam but they were ruled by a Berber queen called “dehia” and there are stories and speculations that they were inviting people than killing them for sacrifices they used to worship the sun and also their queen as a goddess she was a religious figure and there still statues of her till this day in museums and in the Barbary villages in mountains , logically the queen and some of her people didn’t like that Some of their own converted to Islam so that’s why the wars happened but also Islam comes to save oppressed people

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.
It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.
And He is Allah, [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.
And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom.
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.
Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them which We had established upon the earth as We have not established you? And We sent [rain from] the sky upon them in showers and made rivers flow beneath them; then We destroyed them for their sins and brought forth after them a generation of others.
And even if We had sent down to you, [O Muhammad], a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic."
And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?" But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved.
And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.
And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.
Say, "Travel through the land; then observe how was the end of the deniers."
Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah ." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.
    Holy Quran ❤

Kelly is very intelligent, may Allah increase her intelligence. Of course you have understood this case which needs knowledge. The apostate were killed in the context of the hypocrites doing false conversions to be spies and returning back to their polytheist brothers
This context is in the Quran 3 : 72
    {A group among the People of the Book said ˹to one another˺, “Believe in what has been revealed to the believers in the morning and reject it in the evening, so they may abandon their faith.}

16:40- 17:17 reminded me of the verse In the Quran - "Let there be no compulsion in religion , for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood. So whoever renounces false gods and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the firmest, unfailing hand-hold. And Allah is All- Hearing , All- Knowing"
    Surah Al-Baqara 256
Another verse that came to mind in the Quran - " We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this [Quran] is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things? " Surah Fussilat 53 ❤

The way you talked about coming into Islam through observations of winner behavior. That's exactly how Islam spread in my side of the world hundreds of years ago i.e Southeast Asia (namely Malaysia and Indonesia). The locals there were impressed with Muslim Arab traders who came to their shores, who were successful clearly and had a clear rational religion that the rulers decided to revert to Islam and in the process reverting their respective kingdoms. If you're able to one day, you might like to watch the history of Muslim sultanates in Southeast Asia.

This is the most objective explanation of Islam based on accurate facts of history and the Islanic religion that I had ever come across from a Non Muslim which is an important factor because even if word by word of this presentation were uttered by a Muslim, you can't escape the preconceived bias that your mind would create that cause you to doubt actual provable facts as fabrications or overhyped statements.. The slightly higher rates on non-Muslims are too offset the fact that when the city is in trouble, it is the Muslim men who have to leave their families to fight. I have had to do National Service, mandatory conscription, and I can easily tell you that any one of us would have gladly give extra income tax (a few percent) over wasting 2 years and going for yearly reserves. Even with the additional, it is still way lower than what most of us in the West are used to, we are talking about 5% tops.

This is the most important thing in Islam, as you know, the first is the Shahada, and the second is the prayer...and the most important of what is important for faith is also branches that must be acquired before entering into faith, and it is the most important No. 1: Faith in God, the second in His angels, the third in His Books...and His Messengers, etc. From this context, we understand that if If you fulfill these conditions or provisions, you will directly receive a unique type of important hadiths that are authentic to the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Companions. The hadiths are written by companions to whom permission was given from the leader and the evangelist Muhammad, so they must be taken as education and morals in an enlightenment or flavor in that simple, beautiful time. Also in all kinds of circumstances, such as wars and the death of the Messenger and the man who urinated in the mosque at that time. The Muslim only follows the correct hadiths, but not the weak ones. We would love to see your testimony soon, God willing.

The best part about the 4 caliph is that they are the resident of paradise while they still walk on earth(it's confirmed by Prophet Muhammad SAW). They are the best companion. There is a schoolar talk about the 4 of them lifetime story. It's really inspired. You should know why they become the people of paradise while they are still alive and breathing.

If I can share a bit, it's really important to understand Islam based on the companion of the Prophet Muhammad SAW perception. They are the first 1st generation that receives revelations. They witnessed Prophet Muhammad SAW. There are 124,000 companions in total. Some of them we know about their lifetime, especially those are the main companion like 4 of the caliph. If we can't practice the same way the companion did. At least we have the same mindset with them. At least that's makes you equal to the companion of the Prophet SAW. In shaa Allah, May Allah guide you like His guide the all companion. And I must add this also. Al the companion are just like you , a non-Muslim. So you may can relate your situation with other companions. I will say your situation is similar to Salman Al-Farisi RA. Search about him.

He pretty much explained it with the least bias, i think.
But, one mistake i noticed. The "tax" is there as replacement of these non muslim exemption from the military duty. In islamic state, every soldier has to be muslim.
So if the "tax" was higher for the non muslim. It just make sense. Cuz, they dont have to go to the frontline and die.
Oh, we had sent letters to those big countries before they declared war on us by the way. Specially persian, they even sent soldiers to eliminate the prophet as i remember.
Some letters from the prophets are still existing in the museums. With the name of the prophet stamp on it (not his hand writing signature). The prophet was illiterate afterall.

one thing that I wanted to correct is that prophet Mohammed didn't freak out when angel Gabriel informed him that he has to recite Allah's messages to people. prophet Muhammed knew beforehand that he is a prophet. in fact, many Jewish people from his time knew about him even before he was being born. the day he was born they knew that he was born (there were signs in many places) and they were looking for him in Meca. Allah says in Quran that they knew him the same as they knew their children (knew his characteristics and how to find who he is).

Where was his position before Islam, what was his position after, how did he started preaching his message, what did he sacrifice, why did his people attack him.
You'll eventually understand why he had to wage war against his opressors.
And you'll even find that during war he forbids to kill women, children, old people, or even cut trees.

It’s important to note that after prophet Mohammad (pbuh) passed on and people were divided between who should become the next Caliph, the prophet (pbuh) named Abu Bakir but some of the people insisted it be the prophet’s son in law Ali. Neither Abubakir nor Ali fought or debated the topic but a certain group kicked up a stink. That bitterness still continues today, both the Shia and their offshoot “Alewis”. Shia Iranians, particularly their political and religious leaders, continue to hold that grudge and despise Sunni Muslims even today. They are also the Hadith rejectors and are aggressively pushing the rejections in the Sunni world.

Learning about Isslaam starts with getting to know who Allaah is:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Quraan 2:255. Allaah - There is no god but He, the Living, the Sustainer. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except with his Permission? He knows the past and future of his creatures. And they will never assimilate anything of his Knowledge except that which He wills. His chair extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding/preserving them. And He is the High, the Great.
