Really enjoyed that. Since getting my long travel 29er at the end of last year (Intense Carbine Factory), I've taken it on plenty of longer trail rides, the carbon wheels definitely help with keeping it feeling lively. I just love riding it, as I know I can enjoy any downhills to the fullest and find I don't feel beaten up the next day like I used to with other bikes. Co-incidentally I bought it from Will at Blazing Bikes, they certainly have some trick kit there!

I did a mini version on Saturday. I was on Call for work so couldn't be to far from the car and did Stiperstones and drove to the long Mynd (got a puncher on route but thats another story) I have previously parked on the Eastridge carpark and rode up from there but like the Snailbaech Start piont. Great vids.

Enjoyed that cheers. Quick one... on your gopro in the settings use EV -1 or -1.5 when you're out in the open, it'll expose better and you'll get more detail in the sky instead of blown out white. Cheers.

No probs, gopros always seem to over expose and it's easier to bring back the shadows in post than to recover the highlights. Amazing bit of countryside you have there.

I have not been to Long Mynd for a few years as the last time I was there with the wife a walker tryed to hit us of are bikes on the track you were riding down to the bike shop (I know it as number 10)
So have not bother going back. But after this video I may give it a go sometime soon.
A question for you
What grips are you using? As I have a 10 day bike riding holiday coming up & need something conformable &
when are you going to bring out I support pinned TV riding jersey's?

They are packed with the sugars, carbs, proteins the body eats into during big periods of cardio stuff mate. Oh and they're tasty!! 😁

I felt that ride. Do your legs feel more tired 2 days after an epic ride?
I did old skyline trail weekend just gone and my legs fine until 💥 bam this morning did a local 25km ride and the legs were useless.
The Bike Room actually felt sound, it's after big racing day I get the 2 day tiredness!

I attempted to do that ride last year, started at easty carpark, did the red route round to snail beach then up the stiperstones, but i turned back around at the stipers carpark and went back lol
Glad i did now coz i was fucked at that point Lol
You should try and organise a group ride one day, get a ruck of us to do 👍👍

Love it Jim , it’s a no nonsense get on a beast everywhere bike. Haven’t ridden now for 4 months due to the broken leg , missing it like crazy .
It’s an XL and feels a little big sometimes , i’m 6’1” and right on the cusp of L / XL , would prefer a large for agility but the bigger bike comes into its own when the going gets steep and rough , bontrager carbon hoops makes it easier on XC rides but can be a bit shocking /stiff on rocky ground other than that I love my big red .
Recently sold a Cannondale Habit 1 which I used for my XC training rides with mates I thought that was quick however my Strava times have shown the Slash to be just as fast just does it in a different way .
