I wish new theme parks were more like this and less like whatever Epic Universe is supposed to be. When I, a European, visited the Californian Disneyland (caveat: this was 15 years ago), what really struck me was that is was small and cozy and charming in a way that, no offense, America usually isn't. That's what made the place for me. A park like this, or Oregon's Enchanted Forest, or even something like Efteling or Tripsdrill which are having a harder time keeping the stink of corporatism out, is much closer to the spirit of the original Disneyland than an Epic Universe or a London Resort or whatever will ever be. Not because of their overwhelming grandeur, but because of their small charms. Alas, smallness is out of fashion. I hope I'm making sense.
I just had the pleasure of visiting this park it's such a gem. Crazy to see how much has changed in less than three years.
