I've been using +5/+12 weapons on my Lv80 PvP character.
Should I upgrade my weapons? I see Chase is going +12 at 65.
Seems like +12 does really good at 80, but maybe i would get kore frequent Invasions if i upgraded, any suggestions?
I love the parts in this series where you think a phantom is gonna drop a million souls because he's so tanky but only drops like 2000, then some other phantom that dies in 3 hits drops 200k lol
If you ever do another iteration of this series again, you should taunter tongue during your PvE exploration. I think it would add even more fun to your playthrough!

Either he won't be able to use those runes during his PvE exploration or he can calculate the amount he does gain and spend that. Would be a sick addition but I also like to watch Chase doing non-PvP combat
I bet Chase is one of the few invaders to go into an invasion hoping to face a team of overleveled phantoms.

Bonus "Oh my god, WO-OH MY SOULS" is one of the best for now IMO, how Chase was positively schocked just amazing (btw I saw those souls few moments earlier and rewind to check if Chase didnt forgot to reset souls by mistake)
You should use the venomous fang for poison over the zwei since it inflicts deadly poison. And when poison infused the deadly poison lasts the full 90s as opposed to the 30s that deadly poison usually lasts.
I see that you already have it poison infused so I'm looking forward to it being used in bosses and invasions!
But when they are poison infused, don't they lose the deadly poison and just inflict normal poison? That's why it lasts longer if I'm not wrong.

Aw man that phantom from the altus invasion in the skeleton ruins would've been worth some serious runes. They had the moon and what looked to me to be the Rennala staff which has something like a 60 int requirement, they would've been a feast

Quick tip that might be helpful: if you do Yura’s questline you can get his nagakiba, which aside from arguably being the best katana in the game, also comes with piercing fang. Many people don’t pay attention to it cus they think that it’s just impaling thrust with a different animation. However despite costing slightly more, it actually does more damage, goes further, and can turn 180 degrees without difficulty. Just thought it might be useful as I’ve noticed that when you pvp you’re really good at getting backstabs and back hits, but a lot of them are wasted due to impaling thrust missing, where piercing fang wouldn’t. Hope this helps :)
This playthrough has been fascinating.
I know it isn't news at this point but it's still been a demonstration of just how strong status is at all points in the game. You've barely leveled anything but HP!
but this is the main difference to nearly all the casuals. weapon scaling comes from weapon upgrades. so it’s start to kick in when your weapon is around 20 or 8 somber. it’s simple math. 20 level in dex/strength give you lets say 40-50 more attack power. thats around 20-30 after defence. that make nearly no difference. But having 30 vigor (1000) or 50 vigor (1700) does a huuuuuge difference.

This series has made me check out you’re other content and it’s impressive how positive you are in every video I’ve seen!
The series also made me want to try a run like this and I didn’t realize just how difficult it really is, to make invasions really count has made me learn new stuff. This series breathed new life into the game I didn’t know I needed!

By far my favorite TH-camr right now, everyone else I’ve seen I just going for beating the game fast, but here you are making a long series on it
I'm fairly new to souls games being EldenRing the first ever souls/fromsoft game that I played, which was around some time last year and watching Chase switch weapons and talisman on the fly made me wonder if there was a quick-button/hot-key to access the equipment window as quickly as he does. And sh*t it doesn't exist. There is no hot-key. Chase is just that much of a master and quick-witted that he is able to do all that on the fly while simultaneously being under pressure, moving or chasing down people in almost just fraction of a moment.
Very fckin impressive if you ask me.
Imagine having a (secret) Boss that fights like Chase.. That would both be the most glorious and most horrifying boss fight ever. 😂
All that being said, keep up the consistency, Chase! Your killin' it! 🎉

Hey Chase, I did some PvP a while back, mostly with unique weapons and some magic. Your videos though invigorate the emotion and keep me coming back to invade more, your builds and experimentations made it so much more fun, appreciate it brother.
My absolute favourite part of this, was ALMOST seeing chase get angry at the red for attacking him, and dropping the sweetest/softest bag in souls history. Brilliant stuff. You have missed the ringed finger in MT Gelmir though and that dungeon, I can't think of the name, very good meme weapon! Ha

I am always amazed by how consistently and smoothly Chase fiddles with his menus during fights. If I try to swap medallions during fights, it is nigh to impossible.

How does this series keep getting better? I’m beyond addicted. The windfall of souls was amazing, and so many unintentionally funny moments. Chase is kind and positive and I don’t know what I’ll do once this series finishes.

I'd say Leyndell is lvl 70-100 with +15-18 weapons... actually one can easily have a +9 or even +10 Somber weapon pretty easily when one gets to Leyndell. Can find lvl5-7 somber stones in Volcano Manor and an 8 and a 9 just sitting around in the Dragonbarrow... and get a 10 pretty easily in Mohg's Dynasty.
Just a tip for fighting the golems: the great epée will stun them in two charged r2s instead of 3

Yo Chase, thanks to you I'm enjoying Elden Ring again. I've been doing this challenge myself and it's actually pretty fun and invigorating. Unfortunately Fromsoftware's history of God awful netcode caused me to rip a controller in half. Loving the content.

Out of interest any reason to put impaling thrust on the claymore and not piercing fang? Do you prefer that on the banished knight GS? Keep up the vids, they’re going down so well with the viewers!
Impaling Thrust is a bit better for PVE because of the FP efficiency and also due to being a bit quicker whilst doing the same stagger damage from what I remember

I think that the over leveled phantom at 36:36 was about level 634, either way, did not have that much HP at all. Typical wizard build, lol. Love the vids Chase!
