This is what you call good quartet music. No tracks, no ear pieces, no playing out of the pocket. Love It! Nice clean breaks, perfect timing, and no one is out trying to shine one another. Everything is hittin, all on one accord. Real live quartet
I got to see this lineup in a town called Hopewell Va back in 1986 along with Slim and the Supreme Angels Leonard Williams group Willie Banks and a few others can't quite remember all but it a nice program
They were all great and had the specialities, Robert Blair and The Fantastic Violinaires, Slim and The Supreme Angels, Willie Neal Johnson and The Gospel Keynotes, Sam Cooke and The Soul Stirrers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, , Willie Banks and The Messengers and The Sensational Nightingales, I’ve seen them all with the exception of Sam Cooke of course, the use to come and play at a small venue in a small town in South Carolina, and boy did they not disappoint! My mother would play their records on Sunday morning as we were getting ready ti go to The Church of Christ!!!
Brings me back to when we went to the gospel shows and traveled to see shows too. From Fayetteville,Nc to any auditorium and seen a good singing in a packed house
I used to mock them as a child, but I admired their harmonization. The way they sang the song used to tickle me. I've always loved the song though. I just never knew the name of the group. This is my first time seeing this video and hearing the song in 17 or 18 years. Good to see the video again. Ladies and gentleman, The Fantastic Violinaires.
Thanking the Lord Jesus Christ at 4 yr old to be blessed with the 🎁 of the 🥁 and love my roots and drummers, of great music/ all my life and i have that "old time religion every day"thank you Mr. Blair and the Fantastic Violinairs and countless other sound that shaped my sounds as a professional drummer that blessed me so much on my journey 🙏🙏🙏 Amen.
Just becuase you do not like it doesn't mean it's wrong the bibles says to proclaim of his salvation which as long as a worship song is doing means its a good song and not wordly contrary to both comments in this

That's your opinion..... I'm a Pilgrim Jubilees fan, but I won't say they're the greatest of all time...
