    Thanks for watching the video! I initially talked in the video about setting your color profile to CMYK for your artwork, but this is not necessary...since we are saving these as a .PNG file, the color profile is going to revert back to RGB regardless (since PNG does not support CMYK.) Hope this makes sense, lol!

      I’m having trouble with this sticker making process. Every time I print an image onto the cricut sticker paper, the colors in my drawings are very dull and faded. At first I assumed it was my printer, but I just purchased a new one and the results were the same. How can you avoid dull images and black streaks in your printed artwork?

    • @luluha17
      @luluha17 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mrsnailpaste8489 Do you change the quality of the print in the settings? Like choose specifically what kind of paper and set it on Best.
      Sorry if its a silly question, I thought I might help a little if this was the case 😥

    • @Mrsnailpaste8489
      @Mrsnailpaste8489 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luluha17 I tried every combination of paper and print settings, the results were the same. The best print was always dull and fuzzy looking. The colors were always slightly off, and the black lines were consistently present. I've given up on this project, making stickers is an annoying mess.

    You’re true, uniformly sizing it doesn’t work with lots of edges like that. There is a hack I came across recently though that’s been a game changer!
    You duplicate your layer and put it underneath -> fill (I use black but any fill should work) -> Gaussian blur it a bit -> open selection tool on automatic and select that whole shape -> fill that space with white and it’ll give you a decent outline around your shape

    I'm familiar with printing and cutting stickers using my Silhouette, but the beginning of this tutorial was invaluable in helping me learn how to use Procreate to make the design and save it in the right way. In some ways I think Cricuts make this an easier process, but then again the Silhouette has great tools in terms of being able to fill a page with a sticker more efficiently, and a little more robust in terms of designing. I really wish there was a Silhouette iPad app though! For now I save my designs to Dropbox to send to my PC. Thanks for the video!

    Other videos I watched said you had to completely colour the white layer in, but you don't. Is that because it's a "simple" shape (not like a text that might have a gap in loops of letters)? What do you think about Cricut finally coming out with an offset function? (But limiting uploads unless you pay extra!).

    • @BeeJayDeL

      I know I answered you on IG but I’ll put it here for anyone else with the same question: You could....just need to make sure it’s not regular, heat transfer vinyl- needs to be printable with adhesive back. The only issue is cutting, then flattening it out- printers don’t usually play nice with that!

      I watched videos and it said to choose "printer dialogue" when that option came up, and then change the print quality. I did that, but couldn't find a way to change the print quality. Eventually someone told me I wasn't using the actual printer dialogue because I likely hadn't installed the drivers for the printer (despite having print many times!). Sure enough, I was using a generic Windows printer dialogue box. I installed the drivers for my printer and finally had a dialogue box with the option to choose print quality.

    Is there any way to utilize all the white space leftover on the right side? Seems like such a waste of sticker paper 🥺

    Hi! Loved your video! I just got procreate and I’m having trouble when I try to upload a png with my background turned off to cricut. My designs always have this black outline around my pre drawn outline. I used the monoline brush on procreate with the streamline at 100% and the same pixels you said and everything to create my drawing and have that white border😩 I’ve been looking for answers on this problem but it’s like no one is having them, I’m wondering if you have any suggestions on what might be happening or what I’m doing wrong?
    It’s okay if you have no clue too lol

      rpstarr1 have you been able to find any answers!? I’ve tried so many different social media’s and still haven’t been able to fix the problem :/

      Yes! I turned off the bleed setting and it still shows up on the design space but when it prints it’s not there! Have you tried that?

      rpstarr1 no I haven’t, but I definitely will! Thank you for the advice!

    How does this go in terms of cost of materials? Ink and paper etc?

    I used to design my stickers in cricut design space, pull the design into Inkscape to create the outline, then pull them both back into cricut and flatten them to print and cut my stickers. I recently purchased an iPad and Procreate, so I’m making my stickers exactly as you’ve shown here. The only issue that I’m running into is that cricut is printing a gray cut outline around my white outline, which is sometimes showing up on my stickers depending on the precision of the cut. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

      It never printed the gray outline around the stickers when they were flattened images.

    I purchased the same paper and I have a canon printer (cheaper model), but for some reason the printer keeps messing up the print by squeezing the image and overlapping. I’m wondering if it’s operater error, or the cheaper printer can’t handle this paper. Have you heard of this happening before?

      Have not heard of this- does your printer have print calibration settings that you can run?

    Great tutorial, thanks! I guess my printer can’t do stickers, the ink bleeds all over what a bummer.

      Late reply, as I am just coming across this video, and u may have already found a solution 🙃 but I’ve noticed from other videos they made sure the bleeding function on the printer settings is turned off , which in turn stops the bleeding when it starts to print. Give it a try and it may work. Hope it helps.

    The largest size a cricut will print and cut is 9.25x6.75 inches for reference. :)

    Hey BeeJay. I followed step by step and my cut was way off. :((( I was perfectly aligned. It also printed a faded outline around the sticker? Any thoughts on what I did wrong. Thanks so much.
