Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Appreciate the comment. KUDOS on the V12. A rare beast indeed. I can only imagine how tight the fit is between the fenders. Thanks again for watching and cheers!
I’ll add it to the to do list for Iona. She’s started to have more bounce than usual in the front so….maybe after I finish the interior, seats, and door cards I’ve been working on here lately. Thanks for the suggestion and thank you for watching! I’m so grateful for the W140 community and my viewers!
So been watching a lot of the videos and love them. Are you also in tampa. If so would love to have you out for our next tampa w140 meet up. Also about to do same job on s600 and hoping it’s just regulator but now relieved there is a shop local that can rebuild the alternator if needed.
Thanks for watching! Love your stuff as well. Great tips I’ve used before as well working on these cars. I’m in the TB area as well. Hit me up for the next W140 meet up. That will give me even more motivation to shine some bright work. Cheers!!!
Of course! Snugged between the block and oil pan, oil filter housing, and a quarter million miles the alternator looked exactly like the voltage regulator....except dirtier, if that's possible.
Thanks for watching the channel and leaving your comment. The part number you supplied is the air conditioner condenser and is part of the heating and air conditioning climate control system and not the charging system. The charging system does not have a reference to what you mentioned. Others please comment and chime in regarding the starting and charging system components. Thanks for watching and cheers!
Nice work, just did the same on a 2002 R129 SL600 Same process. I had to pull the fan off and lower hose.

Happy new year 🎉 I’m waiting for the suspension!

Anybody replace a A1405470101 (Alternator condenser)? Where it place?
