That older middle aged guy, played in a cop oriented tv show on the hit ABC drama "Lincoln Heights", good to see in front of the camera again!
James B. that show was the best i was so sad when it ended
Khalil is so cute
Ikr girl
definitely seeing this
Yeah! My favourite Black American movie ever, this group of actors did excellent job.
Love this movie can’t stop watching it❤️❤️
When I went to go see the movie, I noticed that the movie theaters were soo empty...
True the theater had probably 20 people. But nobody wants to see real or everyday situations. Not one white person saw the movie while I was at the theater because white Americans don't care. And the rest think black people are exaggerating. The struggle is real.
Wow that’s sad to hear, I live in London and when I went to watch it a lot people went to watch it. There were also white people there too but of course that’s only one cinema in London😕
It was only 5 people when I went
I went with 2 friends and the cinema was packed with white people and obviously black people to but we live in the uk
@@jenebajallow4928 well nah that's the only cinema in the whole entire world what do you mean 1
😭 . that movie was everything ! I will be getting it as soon as it is released on dvd as well ! my future kids will watch it ! that is that .

I'm reading it. It will be among my corpora for PHD in African American Literature.
Have you seen the part where they protest and get justice but also move to a happier neighbourhood
I want to see this but I don't know if I could handle it. But I want to pay to see it in theaters. I didn't even watch Detroit bc I wasn't sure if I could handle it
I know I don't know you, but I think You can handle it! I just saw it today, and It was AWESOME! Very Powerful and worth paying to see!
So I saw it yesterday. I had to fight back the tears but some parts made me pretty angry
Great Interview Guys 😊

If you have watched the movie what is starrs brother called I know seven but what’s the other one
it's Sekani
Ree_Da_Ree thanks 👍
Sekaniiiiiii
The little brother name is sakinai
I love when they called Amandlas name they all clapped and cheered but didn't clap and cheer for the other casts I'm dead 🤣🤣😂😂
She played the main role plus she played the hell out of that part. Don't make it more than what it is.
Definitely Gosling cos of The Notebook
Who else found it akward when the interiviewer talked to the dad about the talk
Why weren’t they nominated for an Oscar
You should know why. Its to real and they don't want to accept that its real life.
Wow Power of Black, Very interesting 👌
I prefer the book but the movie is good though. 💙
i feel like the interviewer should have been black, too. you can tell he feels uncomfortable discussing the reality for many black people. the whole movie is about racism within the USA but everytime the cast discuss something serious his discomfort leads him to switch questions as he DOES NOT KNOW what to respond with. so frustrating!
Ikr
On the thumbnail they look like Will and Jada
After that movie I’m ashamed to be white , but yet I am proud I will never trust anybody nomattter what skin color that way . I find it so disgusting to me . And btwww algeeeeeee lookin like a whole snack
It is good but this movie whitewashed the book by casting a light-skinned mixed race girl to play the main character and inserting a white savior character in the movie that wasn't in the book. Black people were laughing in the theatre when her white boyfriend came on because we are aware of Hollywood of this new trend of giving attractive light-skinned characters white male love interests but still treat black male characters with white female characters as taboo.
الملح ملح ملح
Ha ha, it was actually a shotty movie tbh. It did not do well in theaters, not a lot of people went to go see it and it did not make a lot of money either. Lol. 😂😂😂🖕
Take yo sensitive ass somewhere
@@CoryHeadquarters : Ha ha, i'll do whatever I want. You got that boy?
@Billboardguy1 : Sorry that you dislike the truth little buddy. Lol.
