As a restart & expansion this year, local cooperative grocery will buy anything I bring in (building my own swap out light weight repurposed cedar crates). Four Season Farm idea (Eliot Coleman).

This is good, especially the part about cut your projected harvest in half advice. Weather, wild boar, deer, squirrels, rabbits, voles, mice, rats, gophers, crows, peacocks, turkeys, grasshoppers, army worms, horn worms, stink bugs, flea beetles, aphids, bacterial wilt, fungus, parasitic algae and viruses all eat. I have lost significantly to all these things.

Aspiring beginning farmer here, would like to know how we as farmers can valuate the produce we sell? i.e, fair market value. I appreciate the content, really helps those of us looking to make it in the farming world without having had the same opportunities growing up on a farm

Great Question! My biggest tip would be Market Research for your particular area. I go pretty deep in this video here👇 Welcome to the channel! th-cam.com/video/pIrYQQXVZbc/w-d-xo.html
