- Just bought a cheapo Wifi IP Camera. MYR39.90 (On sale) (About $10).

Spec says it supports RTSP which is perfect for my Home IoT project. But as I search around, the rtsp doesn't work. It does came with an app and it works thru the app.
So, I asked their technical person and told me how to do it. It turns out the camera needs to enable rtsp by SD card file. This video outlines how to do that and therefore enabled the rtsp stream.
RTSP URL: [YOUR CAM IP]/live/ch00_0
It does not need user/pass info.

cams shows up now but needs user and pass on vlc or ispy but it did work on one of the 2 v380 cams for security eye

ch00_0 is for SD. ch00_1 is for HD.

With this file, the camera is now recognized via ONVIF by the DVR and I'm also saving it to HD

This is such a sketchy camera the way it has to be setup with the stock software lol, the V380 I got doesnt have an SD card slot so guess I'm stuck with being logged into China.

you can see your Camera IP in your Router(Modem) Portal , It Will Also have The Name of The Device ID which is written in back of this wifi.
How do i know the ip address of the ip camera?
You have to connect to the camera using its app first. In the app, you can access the camera wifi settings, where you specify the SSID/password of the wifi network. Then, once your camera is connected to the wifi, you can use Who's On My WIFI app (the one I used: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magdalm.wifinetworkscanner&hl=en&gl=US) to figure out the camera IP. (Basically, off the camera, then get the list of devices in the app, then turn on the camera, and the new IP that pops up, is your camera IP). I think there is a way to setup static IP for your camera too but I have not tried that.

After the ceshi.ini file has been run will it still connect via the V380 Pro app on an iphone?
I am using android. and v380 pro app still works after adding ceshi file.
@@gene_Code Great, thanks. I read somewhere that the RTSP feed is not password protected and therefore open to anyone if the port is opened. Are you aware of a way around this but still having external access?

@@andrewcoppin7223 I'm trying this right now and my cam streams in rtsp without password. Even if i change to a new password via v380 app, it still working without password. There's no problem in LAN but i want to open this cam to WAN. Still researching... Stay in touch.
