- The festival is known for its samurai parade. There is also a demonstration of the firing of ancient weapons, harquebuses (arquebuses). The festival honors and remembers the five generations of the Hojo clan, the feudal lords of the Warring States period (sengoku-jidai) who were based at Odawara Castle and achieved great prosperity during that period. In 2024, the festival celebrated its 60th anniversary. So exciting and interesting!
