Do we check the BI every day after 24 hours or just weekly?

Just weekly. Run a new one each week.

For pouches what is the correct way to place pouches in sterilizer? Paper Side up or down?

In this particular sterilizer - it should be plastic side up! Another commenter mentioned I had them upsidedown. It will depend of the sterilizer.
