Above the time is actually the sequel of the MV You and I. It's the same guy too. DKDkTV explained the whole storyline, in which Blueming is also connected to it.
So technically IU was in different dimension (the boat with bright background) because she's time travelling. As you can see she's watching him (that carboard house-shaped thing she's peeking at).
At the You and I mv, IU wants the guy to call her name for her to remember him when they meet at the right time (which she travelled to). As you can see when IU and the guy twitched their fingers clockwise which made the clock land on 12:20. That is the exact time that they should meet.
The calendar thing at the end says December 31, 2019. If you go back to the You and I mv, there's that one scene when IU went inside the time machine, then the numbers suddenly formed to "191231" which is 2019/December/31.
When the guy turned the clock, notice that the place started shaking. After that a scene of him and IU meeting each other again, which explains that they succeeded and met again.
I suggest you should watch the explanation to get the bigger picture. It's more understandable.
I really don't think blueming is connected to this story at all... I think he got it wrong...
@@stillfangirlingtoday1468 well some scenes are kind of similar to it, just like the shaking of the whole place that also happened in 'above the time' mv. Also the rose that she drew in his hands, the rose can be also seen in Blueming mv. So I just thought about it. And the way the lyrics go, it has a lot of similarities to 'above the time'. It makes a lot of sense though.

the Blueming was the 3rd Act
That story of their Love to each other
Maia TC it actually makes A LOT of sense that all 3 are connected. The blue rose she drew inside of his hand and how relevant the blue roses in BLUEMING. She even said in the lyrics ACT 2... in Above the time she said something about writing the first line of their story. So I feel his analysis of everything makes A LOT OF SENSE. Of course everybody can interpret it differently. LOL! But then again 12/31/2019 is highlighted in both You and I and Above The Time..maybe just maybe she will release the very last MV to answer all of our questions.

It's the outer end of the time, so you and I are at the end. When IU went on a time trip, Lee Hyun Woo woke up and IU went to time space because of time machine malfunction. Lee Hyun Woo was trying to make a time machine and IU had a moment to go. So IU Yi Woo spent time in another space. And IU Yi Woo knew that it was not a dream, but she could find a place where she could be able to escape. I'm exsanguinating and you and I are the last part.

I think this mv is from man's perspective while IU is time traveling. He has to live and wait December 31st 2019 where IU is traveling (you can see the date in You & I mv), which according the calendar is next day. Hope there is third part at the end of this year
