A super 3000 will move slurry 65ft, i'd love to see a super 3800 working. I suppose its down to preference and opinion. We have plenty of choice in Armagh as Newrock, Redrock and NC are all within a few miles of each other 😀
Thinking of buying a second hand NC3500 off a neighbour thats retiring, what you think? its going cheap, a Hi-spec near me too for sale, NC looks a lot bigger and tougher?? Any ideas or advice lads?

Antony farming I havnt heard much about them. I would say their ok. Biggest thing is that it’s was looked after by previous owner and hasn’t big hours on it.
Have an 05 5720 with a loader. A lovely tractor to drive, she stacks and brings home close to 900 bales a year with a 24ft bale trailer and handles it just as well as our 6115R. Handles a 2000 gallon tanker easily and feeds the cattle. 5600 hours and can see it doing another 5000. A brilliant tractor

Tempted but wouldn’t have the the work to justify it. We Make about 600-800 bales per year with hay, silage and straw. But any manufacturers that want to sponsor a baler for the season for some publicity I’ll glady take it. 😁

Minty a cousin of mine has a red rock mixer and his Massey 5455 could barley handle it so he put it on his chipped Massey 6470 what handled it with ease. The hp on the 6470 was roughly 130-140hp give or take. With quite thick slurry.
Out of it here in south east but somehow plenty of silage is being sold . There is 25 farmers looking for silage off a contractor who sells ailage every year and he's finding it impossible to get any .
donagh mccarthy newrock is made by the founder of redrock. He lost the redrock business and set up newrock. Some say the newrock are better as the redrock are now built in Poland and have Chinese copy gearbox. 🤷🏻♂️ open to correction on that but just what I’ve been told

Lee Mcshane very little as I havnt enough subscribers. You need 20k plus before u start making money. If I was doing this to make money I’d have quit after the first month. You have to like making videos and eventually if it goes well you make some money.

David Long them new majors are same as a newrock now too. Your right David we need it to dry up and warm up quick.
We recently bought a 4000 gallon tanker from newrock, also have a newrock mixer. They're very well engineered machinery.

To do the job probably you wouldn't want much under 100hp

Yes I agree to 100 hp but 120 to be easier on the tractor.
