Nice work 😁 I'm in manila Philippines watching your videos, been Pattaya many times I am USNAV retired unfortunately I'm really handicap disabled with severe arthritis in my legs. I wish I could go there to live but it's completely impossible right now. 😢
I'm sorry to hear that brother. It sounds like you're in a unique situation but I definitely understand as we all have our limitations. Now I'm sure you know much more about the Philippines than I do. I have to guess you're in a better position there as far as healthcare is concerned? that beer bar complex on soi 3 is a place where i have to visit...passed it many times when i would stay at siam@siam on my way to soi 6...in a few months i'll check it to see what kind of trouble i can get into

That was fun revisiting Soi 2 and 3. I began my residential life on Soi 2 just off Beach Road in 2002. That area has changed quite a bit since then! but I have happy memories. Real good quality picture and very well presented. Thanks Tom.

Bar Complex Soi 3 used to be very good, and could have a lot of fun, my go-to bar was Oh La La Bar the last one next to the Indian restaurant, I had been going to this bar for many years but sadly on my last visit in October 2023 I was ripped off with the girls adding drinks onto my bill, yes I did get drunk but not drunk to get a bill for 10.000 bhat.
I did pay the bill and made sure before I left the bar I told the manager, mamasan, and cashier they just lost a customer and I would not be coming back into their bar and would let friends also know to avoid this bar, I made sure other customers sitting at bars nearby heard what had happened, My advice to anybody visiting this bar keep an eye on your bill and watch the girls as they order drinks without you offering them and just put it into your bin.
All great points. I've heard so many stories about this with different bars in Thailand. The windmill group on walking Street makes all the customers initial their Bin when they order to avoid any type of a surprise later on. I always thought this was a good idea. I Always hated people not showing me the bill before they put anything in my bin. Anyway we have to rely on taking care of ourselves when it comes to this issue. I've heard so many horror stories.

Any time, November-April is considered High season with December having the coolest temperature. May-Oct is low season, Prices are cheaper but temps are hotter and it rains more often. I hope this helps.

I've been going to soi 3 for years. It's always been known as a Asian Hangout for good reason.
Is baked rice a fairly common menu item in Thailand or no ? Luv my fried rice but having to cut way down b-cuz of health issues .
