    MMA has already overtaken boxing - but I remember how big boxing was in the 90's (was on TV everynight) the buzz I used to get for a Naseem,Barrera Benn Calzaghe RJJ Tyson etc fight for weeks in advance and I loved it. It was the middle of last week about 2 days before I payed any attention to the David Haye/Klitschko fight on sat and how depressing that was (which was prob biggest boxing fight since Lewis/Tyson 02). I now get that buzz looking forward to a fight for Fedor/Shogun,GSP even Cruz.

    It could be that Marquardt and Sonnen might have a testosterone deficiency but they most likely took advantage of the condition as an excuse to train with high levels of it

    Im not sure how it all really works, but is ppv>own channel? it would seem to me that their bread and butter are ppv sales. and it would seem that if they had a channel, that would mean they would be entitled to show free fights, instead of selling the live events at $50+ a pop.

    KARYN BRYANT: read my earlier post about a division system this would enable typicallyWandy, Tito even Randy to still compete at a very high level but not hv to fight best of the best If thr was UFC1, SForce2nd,WEC3rd divisions. At the mo what happens if a 32 yr old fighter loses 3 or 4 fights in a row - they are banished never to return - atleast with my system if you are not perforning in the UFC you would be relegated to SForce etc and for the guys doing well in Sforce would be promotedto UFC

    @tubebunny7 as a fighter myself and having a basic understanding about biochemistry i'll tell you this. if you already have low testosterone and decide to just try and train harder to overcome it guess what happens. your body secretes more cortisol and in turn your testosterone levels will lower even more. it's ok to have to take testosterone to bring your body up to normal levels, just like its ok to take antibiotics to cure a bacterial infection.

  • @Skeetkwando
    @Skeetkwando 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @tubebunny7 no reason you shouldn't be able to use HRT if your testosterone or growth hormone levels are low. The pituitary gland is extremely vulnerable to damage from head trauma and when NFL players, boxers, etc. have been tested many have been low in pituitary hormones. It goes beyond athletic performance, HGH and testosterone are paramount in cognitive health, aging, and most bodily functions. If there is a standard and they are tested readily, there's no reason they shouldn't get therapy.

    UFC has pride IFL WEC SForce - what it needs to do is run a league system ie UFC premier,SForce 2nd,WEC3rd - Dana White has been saying for last few years there should be more fights in UFC alone. The reason they cant is cos its a p p view and if they were every week not every1 can afford it. To subsidise this they need to get a deal with whichever station and you can subscribe for an annual fee of $30 for all WEC fights $50Sforce.With win/losedraw point systm to determine promotion/relegation.

    @TheRiobezerko At least we get to watch a legend step in the octagon & finally get to see Tito get fired which should have happen half a decade ago. 133 has Rashad Evans vs Phil Davis; Rich Franklin vs. Little Nogueira; & Belfort vs Akiyama. IMO slightly better but the following event 134 Brazil has some sick match's: Anderson vs Okami rematch; Rua vs Griffin rematch; Schaub vs Big nog.

    @BrannonMcConkey Tito beat Forest in April of 2006; & Ken twice in July & October... these where his last wins in MMA. Looks like the only person he has beat since then is his GF.

  • @Immortalsyn83
    @Immortalsyn83 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LilBlitz116 I highly doubt pacman would last more than 2 minutes against any heavyweight champion of boxing. He doesn't have the power to finish big guys that are 200+ pounds & hit 2x harder than a lightweight... I doubt very much Anderson Silva would be Cain Velasquez either if this was an MMA debate. P4P rarely includes heavyweights because it is a speculated ranking meant to boost a lighter fighter by comparing boxers based on their ability to perform above and below their natural weight.

    @AFKslashSLITTING Stay in the UFC Karo missed weight numerous times and Cheal Sonnen fights for a title and almost wins with the use of steroids. So if Sonnen the cheater and money launderer gets to stay and Karo gets fired and then hired back why should the always honest Nate be punished so harshly? Makes no sence my friend I have done my research and even watched an hour long interveiw. Here is the link if you'd like to see it. It explains a lot.

  • @Immortalsyn83
    @Immortalsyn83 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LilBlitz116 I said best which would be the heavyweight champion of boxing... Pacman is only a good in the lighter divisions & would be destroyed in seconds if he fought most heavyweights.

  • @fighter4christ7
    @fighter4christ7 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Man I don't get this firing of Marquardt. Seriously he makes 1 mistake and his T levels the day of the fight were where they were suppose to be so technically according to the athletic commission he could have fought. This is White's stupidest decision I never seen Nate 3 other mistakes he speaks of and Nate told the UFC the day he found he had low T. Dana has let other guys back into the UFC after firing them for countless mistakes. This is all very scetchy and very unfair Nate could be a Champ

  • @MasterMecha
    @MasterMecha 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @FishcakeX Because thats Chael's second chance and that was Nate's 4th chance, according to him. Haters gonna hate, Dana gets so much shit for no reason.

    @tubebunny7 working harder has nothing to do with the amount of testosterone you produce. i have no problem with the ufc kicking nate out since his levels were way above normal. what is your point here? anybody with a deficiency in testosterone production should work harder or shouldn't fight? do you know what testosterone does? how can you work harder if you aren't able to synthesize protein at a normal rate, produce enough rbc's etc.

  • @thesashworth
    @thesashworth 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @ZLeeJonZ As you say MMA is a passion, mine too and if u think of the figures for a realistic fee it wouldnt need to be much say a 1 off annual fee $40 if 100,000 ppl worldwide (and I bet would be nearer 1Mill+) that is $4m at least just to run the WEC - there would still be some amazing fights just because they are 1 or 2% lower than the best of the best. I mean thr is BW/FW/LW/WW/MW/LHW/HW.Its fastest growing sport in world yet thr is currently about 1 show/month for UFC/pride/IFL/WEC/SForce.

    @wildwolves8 Does that effect dana whites company? No

  • @Immortalsyn83
    @Immortalsyn83 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LilBlitz116 P4P doesn't mean best in the world... that is the heavyweight champion. P4p is only best in a money weight fighter(able to be effective in multiple divisions.) Pacquiao is only like 120 pounds.. at the most 145ish... I agree he is skilled for his weight but normally little guys get slaughtered against heavier opponents which is why there are weight class's.

  • @Immortalsyn83
    @Immortalsyn83 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @paulyoc123 He means what he says.. Not making weight for previous bouts.. Abusing testosterone therapy just days before a headlining bout... costing the UFC money in advertisements... screwing over a main event... It's not like nate "the gatekeeper" Marquardt, Middleweight King of pancakes was ever going to hold a UFC title. He would have just been a gatekeeper of the Welterweight division.

  • @spaniardmale77
    @spaniardmale77 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @FishcakeX I like Nate as a person, but think besides ur butthurt or bias. Nate has been caught cheating with REAL 100% steroids before & he gave some excuse. K, gets a 2nd chance. Then he starts doing Testosterone "therapy" &gets caught super high levels & New Jersey suspends him. K, Dana gives 3rd chance. Then on fucking fight night, he gets caught high again and ruins a card, cost his company tons of cash. WTF u want? Chael got caught just with high testosterone and he is on his 2nd chance.

    @tubebunny7 He needed that therapy. Look at that fight with Okami he looked like crap against a guy he was suppose to smash. Plus he was cleared by his doctor and perscribed to take it and told the UFC immediately. White himself didn't know but the other Zuffa staff did and they said for his case it was alright. On weigh ins he was just a tad over but they gotta draw the line somewhere and on fight day he was within the right levels. Doesn't look like cheating at all to me he hide nothing

  • @Immortalsyn83

  • @fighter4christ7
    @fighter4christ7 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @AFKslashSLITTING Oh but I have. And besides the research I've done I also know Nathan Marquardt. So yeah.... I win. Nate even admits it's his fualt for not being more cautious about it and thinks White's decision is just. That's how humble he is. Me on the other hand I mean cmon this can be overlooked his T levels the day after weigh ins (fight day) were where they were suppose to be. So technically he could have fought. Mr. White lets guys like Karo Perisian and Cheal sonnen........

    Dana is bad for the sport, his unprofessional vocabulary is affecting the recognition of MMA as a true sport. Every interview he's in he uses profanity! Grow up Dana and represent the sport as a true business man. These athletes deserve a better ambassador than you. And the effect of that will be better pay for these guy's who put themselves in harm's way for peanuts, compared to boxing.

    Why do you think? Its pretty obvious. Without them they end up just to skinny or too fat to compete against colored folk who usually just have superior genetics for muscle/power/speed. You do get some white guys with great genetics for muscle/power though. Like brock if he never took roids/hgh, he still would have been at least 220 pounds or so of muscle im sure.

    Oh i ant talking about the terrible period in Us history were blacks were used for slavery. Thast far too short a time for genetics/dna. I would be going alot further back. Also i shouldn't have made such a broad statement simple fact is all colors have their Beasts and their weaklings , even blacks, even Brazilians and whites also . I made that comment previous to make that first guy understand why he sees more white people using roids in sports, which is sort of true.
