Less than an hour posted and it's bringing back the most amazing memories of 1988. I remember it well. I'm glad to tell the world that this little album was often enough (because it was a real favourite) a feature of the now legendary Shoom Club in South London in the late 80s. Meditative music like this - and particularly this (I remember my friends and I enjoying it cross-legged on the floor quite a lot of nights, over the months) was used at Danny Rampling's Shoom at the Fitness Centre in Southwark to start the night, as people began to filter in early on, and the repetitive, trance beats of the great, early British House Music scene would gradually emanate from these meditative sounds with increasing volume. I'm nearly sure that we had Mr Flanagan and Mr Fitzgerald visit the club. I'm pretty sure they were there. This was the age of "Balearic" flavour chilled-out music being imported between the UK and the Balearic Islands (in both directions). I also remember this album as a part of the Ambient House scene in London and beyond which came about from the year after - 1989. There was an old church somewhere not too far from King's Cross Station in London, with all day daytime Sunday gatherings of Ambient House music, and this album featured there regularly. Thank you so much for bringing back the memories. And the music because it will always be great. The sound quality of your transfer is as good as it gets.
