Who is Malenia, Blade of Miquella you ask? She is the hardest boss in the game. Full stop. Some people may argue with me for the lulz, but she is specifically designed to be harder than any other boss, and it shows. And every time she kills you, she has to repeat "I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella" so you can understand our pain.

what i like about her design was that she was specifically made to counter the ways players would make bosses easier things like healing when you try to shield tank her hits or waterfowl dance punishing just spamming dodge to distance
@MrJpc1234 yeah, as much as people hate on her, she's actually a lot of depth to her fight. So many quirks that you have to learn and relearn how to fight, like her parry ability and her response to certain amounts of aggression. She is much more likely to break out Waterfowl Dance when you are attacking while she's in the middle of an action. This is me spitballing, but I've never once seen her use it at the start of a combo. I think it's a direct response to you being too aggressive, almost like a revenge counter from Kingdom Hearts.

@theduckgoesmoo Godrick was kind of the runt of the demigod family, so he decided to take up grafting to become more powerful, which means kidnapping random people, Tarnished especially, and sew their limbs onto his own. Hence his title, Godrick the Grafted. When you fight him, he gets desperate enough to chop off his own arm and graft on the head of a dragon, which means fire breath. It's kind of insane. I highly recommend you check out some Elden Ring boss fights in the future. They get nuts
So the reason he said Radahn was a god among chads is the fact the when you fight him in game he is 90 percent dead, he is literally too angry to die. The lore for Radahn is that during the war known as the shattering he fought his half sister malenia in Caelid. In that fight Radahn pushed malenia so hard that she ended up losing control and released the Scarlet Rot onto Caelid. The swamp of Aeonia that he was talking about was ground zero where Malenia released the Rot. So Radahn when you fight Him is a mostly dead, feral rot infested giant on a skinny horse and is simultaneously holding the stars in place and it still takes you and a small armies worth of casualties to bring home down. There is a reason he was known as the mightiest Demi god of the shattering.

For the next Max0r video, I'd say one of his earlier videos, like Doom Eternal, Bloodborne, or Yakuza 0. He's got a lot. Maybe not Ultrakill, because thats Max0r at his most insane, and the game itself is already insane, so combining the two equals pure madness.

Fun fact about Radahn: He learned how to alter gravity with magic (at least initially) for the express purpose of making himself weightless so he could ride his beloved horse without hurting it. The horse’s name is Leonard in the game files.

From Software is the name of the developer of Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and many other games. Hidetaka (Hide-your-tacos) Miyazaki is the guy in charge of Fromsoft and the main mind behind all these games, so he's the guy we all blame when the game kicks our ass into the dirt.

Before getting into some of the other more extreme Max0r videos, i would recommend his Bloodborne or Doom Eternal reviews first. I think the Bloodborne review as a follow up to his Elden Ring series would probably be the most fitting.

Once you do MGS: revengeance those are the priority cause they are absolutely the best ones I'd say. But until then, Bloodbourne and doom are definitly my votes.

If you're still taking suggestions for max0r vids, I heavily recommend the very first Incorrect Summary, for Ace Combat 7. Besides "The Last Neopets Game", this really lays the groundwork for what his style evolves into. Plus, going in order helps you recognize recurring memes that pop up in future videos.
If you dont plan on going in order, which would be understandable, then I'd recommend Doom Eternal.
I'd like to see you actually play Elden Ring, but if you're interested in more great videos about it and don't mind spoilers, I suggest 'ELDERING (Elden Ring Cartoon Parody)' by Matthew Shezmen. An amazing 40 minute animation parody of Elden Ring.

Ultrakill is indeed his best and worse video series: it's his best because it's his most insane editing yet; it's his worst because it's his most insane editing yet.
Max0r has great videos for Doom Eternal, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Yakuza 0
The next max0r video needs to be his ultrakill videos
If you want to watch his slower, easier to watch but still great, videos, I would suggest either Bloodborne, Doom Eternal, or Genshin Impact (either one, but I would start with the first one).
If you want to dive headfirst into his most insane videos, there is no better place to go than with Ultrakill.

But his best vids are when twitch chat are involved. Apart from Mario Maker explained with food, that video is literally *chef kiss* magnificent.
I would recommend you the Project wingman Video from Maxor. After this you will have PTSD from the colour Orange.
Hands down the Max0r video I'd recommend the most is his his duology on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Of course, if you plan on playing that one yourself as you are with the mainline MGS titles, I'd do that first -- in that case, I'd instead recommend checking out his DOOM Eternal review!

You can watch his RE4 video if you got past the village section of the game and into the castle.
Also his next video he's working on is Armored Core 6 which i want to play. Its another Fromsoft game yet its not a souls like game. At least not in the way youd expect. If you like giant robots and warcrimes then thats probably a game you should check out in the future or 3ven watch a compilation of the opening cutscenes of all the games. I expect him to use a GFL track at least once for that video. He has not really used one since this Elden Ring Video which is the credits song Solar Sea. No i will not stop bringing up Girls Frontline music and how chinese game devs are really fucked up when it comes to writing disturbing lore about cute robot girls shooting and viscerally tearing each other to pieces.

yeah iirc game story was written by the guy behind game of thrones - not the biggest fan of him but I like the souls games
and yeah that story felt even weirder compared to what I remembered from demon/dark souls times... at least you go through most of the game without getting anything of the story anyway

Would you be interested in watching the VaatiVidya Elden Ring Lore videos? I actually think that they'd be more interesting watching you react to them because you haven't played the games. They are legitimately well written videos (especially his Prepare to Cry Elden Ring stories), have millions of views, and Elden Ring is basically an encyclopedia of lore and story to explain, hence the dozens of videos lol.
Honestly if you were going to get into the souls franchise Elden ring would probably be the best one
