    One of the best defensive mechanisms is the fatty skin around the next and back. If one of those wolves grabbed the loose skin around the neck, the wolverine has the ability to rotate more than 180° to bite back. So the wolf would have a mouth full of fur, while possibly getting his nose or eye bitten off. That's insane.

      My buddy was walking in the night and eleven boys with knives approached him. He told them he had no money. It was true; he was in college like me. He put his hands in his pockets to hold his keys as there was a bar (very thin and about 8 inches long) and the guys laughed as one said, "It's just his keys" as they got closer one put his knife into my friend's stomach, but the bar went into his eye and about three inches into his brain. The scream was so great all the other ten turned and ran.
      You see when a wolverine can get under a bear and the balls are removed all the fight goes from the animal. But the screams mean panic and the cage holding all those bears means they must face the wolverine, who also has figured out there is no escape and night is coming and the wolverine would like to sleep in peace.

    When people say the wolverine walked off, because he didn't want to encourage the wolves to chase him, it only shows how intelligently superior the wolverine is to the wolves. When I saw that nature documentary, where the wolverine fought one on one with a full male wolf and had the poor thing yelping like a puppy while trying to get away, was all I needed to see ( won the kill). That's why you never send a wolf to do a wolverines job.

    • @ReligionOfSacrifice
      @ReligionOfSacrifice ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThisHandleFeatureIsStupid, what the hell are you talking about? Anywhere a wolverine exists is death ground if you aren't as fast as them or if you don't have good fire power. They don't worry about whether you can bite them. They know they can make you curl up in a ball before you can ever do it to them. You see the wolverine would have loved it if any of his behavior had gotten the one with balls to try to bite him or even bite him. Then the wolverine would know he is close enough to remove one of the balls and thus the animal would be having a rough night and then the wolverine as the slower animal could track him all night until finally he could enjoy the other ball nice and slowly along with the soft underbelly of the male wolf.
      I had a friend like that. At six years old he heard an 11 year old threaten me so he said, "You step into his yard and say that." So the 11 year old did and that is when my six year old friend hit him in the face and got on his chest. The second blow caused so much blood to flow out of the kid's face he was in complete terror. As he let the 11 year old run away my friend said, "you think that's something! That's nothing!" and he took of his tee-shirt to reveal over 40 stripes all over his back. I was 4 years old and had no idea what it meant. What it meant was his father would beat his six year old ass until he was curled up in a ball wondering when it all would end. He took one look at that 11 year old and knew this little shit can never get me to where my father can get me, but I know where to strike to get that from him.
      The wolverine is like that. Sort of like a honey badger only far worse in attack with just as thick skin. He knows what his capacity for pain is and is more than willing to allow any amount of pain to him from a wolf's jaws, just so long as he can remove that male wolf's balls so that the whole damn wolf will make an excellent meal that night.
      My friend knew my mother would set up ice cream and bubble in the front yard so that she could get us out of the sand box in the back yard with scratched up match box cars, so she could set up the Mattel town with cars and people on the cement backyard play area and then call us to the backyard again for the new play area and he knew my yard was so wonderful that anyone threatening to make my yard into anything close to his father's house was worthy of his anger.
      There was another boy who was 5 whose mother was dead and his older brother and father were in the military. His dog would follow him all day as the two guys had trained that dog to remain always near the 5 year old. But there was also a 4 year old Indian boy. When he first came to my backyard the 6 year old jumped up and screamed him out of my backyard. He went to the front and was kicking the garage door yelling "This is a bad house!" When my mother found out what happened she led him to the backyard and said, "This is Guhan, and everyone is going to play with him as their friend, because he is just like all of you." Joe Khan looked into my mother's eyes and I knew she had won.
      It didn't take long for that boy to realize my mother was better than his father and so he threw out those past lessons from just those words alone. The four of us were inseparable from 4 years old to 10 years old when I moved away due to my father finding a new job in engineering. I played with those three boys and two others who joined later who one was the oldest and one was the youngest of our group of 6 little boys. Back when it was the four of us though we played 7 days a week for hours each day. It was the best childhood I've ever seen and trust me I've seen the childhood of many kids. There were only two Star Wars toys I never had: Jabba the Hutt and an AT-AT Walker. Every other Star Wars toy I've had. When I moved I got a new best friend till 16 and then met a kid who was to be my best friend after graduation from college, but a friend from 16 on. The best friend from college was ten years older than me and robbed a bank.
      I've often wondered what happened to Joe Khan when he returned to the Bronx after being with me between the two times in the Bronx. When the older kid showed up to make the six boys the two fought and then Joe asked me if he was a leader of our pack since he won the fight. He certainly had, but I told him we are not to fight with friends again. The older boy named Nick then asked me if he was the leader of the group. I told him there was no leader of this group and we are not to fight with friends. The six of us played together a lot outside, but the oldest one never came into my house to play. He mainly was tough on his little brother who was the youngest. Anyway, I wonder if Joe Khan got violent in the Bronx and if anyone ever realized that weapons were necessary to defeat him or if he had learned enough to avoid real trouble in that region of tough people. The Bronx with a racist father might not have ended well.

      Michael Caz closely related. The Wolverine is twice the size and has an incredibly dangerous array of offensive weapons (bite force, especial molars, long and extremely sharp and strong claws), high energy levels for long fights (especially in arctic conditions), whereas the honey badger has an incredibly thick and loose skin that is next to impossible to puncture. It is built to take an enormous amount of punishment and will fight all day (literally) until it is either dead or its opponent vanquished.

    • @dunringill1747
      @dunringill1747 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are related with some subtle differences.
      The wolverine is more of an aggressive attacker. They go for the neck like a true predator taking down its kill and have even hunted moose. Bears, cougars, & wolves can kill wolverines but rarely do. A wolverine is more than willing to challenge these apex predators. Wolverines often drive these predators from fresh kills due to their ferocity.
      The Honey Badger is more of an aggressive defender. They go for the genitals to counter predators as they back away. To the predator, it's usually not worth the effort beyond a "poke test". Honey Badgers are not an easy meal due to their small size combined with their great defense. However, Lions, hyenas, leopards, and large snakes occasionally hunt honey badgers.

    This is insanity. There needs to be more studies done about the wolverine, there are bears that have trouble fending off 2 wolves, this wolverine did it with so much skill, I know not two wolves are alike but damn! The craziest part is that the wolverine is clearly strategizing and thinking on its feet. For every counter or move it checks around its surroundings I can only think that it’s locating where the wolves are and openings. It knows how to maneuver the wolves with his body to prevent being surrounded. This is truly an exceptional wolverine. It could even read the body language of the wolves from when they were getting near him, to when they were about to charge, to when the wolves had given up, that’s why it confidently walked away! It’s crazy how in other videos even tho the wolverine is out numbered it knows when other predators want to attack or they don’t and will behave accordingly. Even those maneuvers! Humans can’t pull those off! He doesn’t let them surround him, when he senses he might be put in a bad spot, he charges to open them up, and bunches them together to have them block their own way, after a charge he quickly maneuvers his body to face the wolves, and even in a combination of attacks he doesn’t stop maneuvering until they are again bunched together. Even when they try to bait the wolverine to charge, the wolverine doesn’t fall for it and waits for them to make a move. This is probably so embarrassing for the wolves that at the end their morale is just gone and don’t even bother to try go for the wolverine even after it turned its back on them.

      A wolverine was put in a cage with ten grizzly bears and so it slew all ten grizzly bears and then went to sleep. Wolverines like to sleep in peace and couldn't assure peace until all ten grizzly bears were dead. A wolverine could give two shits about two wolves.

    Wolverine was swift between dodging and counter attacking the pair of wolves.
    Wolverine shows great intellegence to defeat these predators without a single bite.
    This is great example of how not acting like prey really confuses these predators.
    Act like prey, and become prey.

      @dafnes. 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@jimberjamber8540 the fact that the wolverine killed the polar bear has not been fully confirmed, and when it does, the wolverine would have to bite into its neck and the bear would have no way to throw it off. If he had attacked one wolf, the other wolf would try to stop him. Wolverines do not kill larger ones, but scare them away. In fact, it is said that in the areas where wolves live, there are very few wolverines
