I have no idea what to make of it. Paul Harvey certainly had an insight that is being played out nearly 60 yrs later. He is not a prophet, but certainly grasped the devil. With that insight how can as a Christian not think it wasn’t influenced by God. Hopefully Joe uses both logic and feelings to arrive at Jesus Christ as savior. Faith comes in countless forms.

I've been a subscrber to your channel for at least a year. I'm finding it strange that the comment I left about the quote "tranquilizing the rest with pills" has no Likes. I left my comment approx 4 hours ago and I was one of only three people that had commented at that point. Everyone else who commented at that point, has at least a few likes, some have hundreds. My comment was honest, thoughtful and fairly well written and I think it made a good point. It's hard to imagine all 60,000 viewers either didn't look at the comments and/or ignored my comment. I'm wondering if you removed my comment. I normally don't worry about this type of thing and I never even go back to a video to check to see if I get Likes or Replies. But I came back to the video because I was curious if anyone had left a comment about their experience witih benzodiazipines. It kind of bothered me that you would remove a good comment. I can't imagine what your motivation would be.

Joe Rogan is opening his eyes. You know what's interesting about Joe Rogan Right now? He isn't exhausting his effort trying to "debunk" Theistic notions or ideas. He isn't trying to form a counter argument. *Instead, he's actually listening.*
This is unlike how many atheists in general seem to behave on the internet. Joe Rogan is behaving as someone who is observing things objectively rather than trying to "defeat" something and label that endeavor "objective observation".
    1. This is not how It seems general atheistic TH-cam channels behave.
    2. This does not seem to be how atheists generally online behave, *Who claim to be evidence-based or objective.*
Instead, Joe Rogan is actually proving this true by the way he's behaving, not by fighting, but by listening, and by using humility rather than being overconfident in the claim "there is no evidence", and guess what it's doing? It's causing him to realize that there are more ways in which there is evidence for something than only "scientific", and that by expanding his vision, he's seeing that theirs more to religious belief than he initially thought.
    Way to go, Joe Rogan!

God will use any means to get to His children, and that's what's important here. Remember, as much as heaven is fighting for this man's soul, hell is fighting equally as hard. The negative side of the nuns still exists among Christians when they think sacrifice is a virtue as the nuns did."I am the way" does not mean sacrifice/ punishment/ disease/ accidents/ emotional trauma. It means forgiveness. "If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent." Forgiveness is the key to health and healing.

@shalomshalom8715. The Hebrew Bible has a grand total of zero Arabic words. The Arabic language didn’t exist even at the time of Christ. Any similarities is from the Aramaic language of the Hebrews, which predated Arabic, and from which the Arabic language drew.

    • @annemurphy9339
      @annemurphy9339 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@shalomshalom8715 You reply with yet another silly statement. The ancient biblical scrolls are penned in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. And to allege that Yeshua ha’Mashiach, a HEBREW born in ancient Judaea of the tribe of Judah of the house of David, is an Englishman is rank dishonesty - even you know better. The Bible is also for all men, every ethnicity, people group, and nation.

    • @annemurphy9339
      @annemurphy9339 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

@shalomshalom8715 That claim is an obviously ridiculous one. Yeshua is the promised ha’Mashiach of the Hebrews, the line of Abraham-Isaac-Jacob. Yeshua is God Incarnate who came to earth in the body of a HEBREW male, in the nation of ancient JUDAEA, and according to the prophecy exclusively of the Tanakh/BIBLE. He wore the clothing of a Hebrew male including the tassels (tzitzit) attached to the corner of His mantle to remind Hebrews of the constant presence of YHVH God’s commandments. Yeshua observed perfectly every jot and tittle of the Mosaic/Hebraic Law as He had given it to Moses, including all of its rituals and offerings. He observed all of the feasts and festivals unique to ancient Israel/Judaea under the Mosaic Law including Passover, the Feast of Trumpets, Feast of Tabernacles, and more. And when He entered into holy places of worship, they were synagogues or the holy Temple.
In other words, no islam, no allah, no mosques, no stone or any other idols. There is no connection between the Judeo-Christian faiths and the worship of YHVH God/Yeshua ha’Mashiach and the religion of the crescent moon god allah that was created 600+ years after Christ’s ascension. You’d be better off trying to claim Buddha.
I realize you are simply trolling, trying to say something each time that is even sillier than before, but I post these responses for the sake of anyone reading the comments who may not be aware. Truth is always appropriate.

My mom pulled me out of catholic school and put me in public school. When the priest said think of her faith my mother said that is what I'm thinking of.
God told me to read The Bible at 10 so I asked my mom for one and read it. That made all the difference. If you have not read it, do it now.

Sorry you had a bad experience.
I went to catholic school for 9 yrs, in the late 60's to late 70's. Most nuns were ok.
The only time I saw a kid get sent to stand in the closet or out in the hall was the kids who were bad. They had warnings to pay attention when she smacked a ruler on the desk. But there seemed to always be 1 or 2 boys who just persisted. Sometimes I saw what they did, most times I was doing what I was supposed to so did not see them.
It was a small school onlt 1 classroom. So everybody came up thru the grades with the same people for the most part. Small towns be like that.
Now there was a nun, she always seemed mean. But when we got to her classroom she was nice.
Don't forget some of those nuns, probably pms'ing or peri-menopause you dont mess with women during those times.
Throw in a kid who test a saints patience.
I would have gone to the high school but in the mid 70's the fee was just to high for grade scbool. I was made to clean school bathrooms to pay for school.
I would have went to the high school, but that was cost was to much for our family.
But I have Gods Grace and love. And I thank Him everyday. I could not have lived this long with out His help and grace. Jesus, I need you every second of every day.

I remember listening to him with my dad as well! News&Commentary along with The Rest of The Story. Back when I was a kid growing up in the 90s he’d have the AM radio on in the truck the majority of the time it feels like. I’d go into work with him early mornings, anywhere from 3:30AM to 6am depending on how busy he was expecting the day to be. Then in the work truck same thing&on the way home. Summers I’d be with him just about every day he worked, &he always made sure we’d be in one of the trucks in time for Paul Harvey whether it was reruns or new. Even as a got older in the 2000s we’d still listen to him together, but when I was a little kid it just felt so much more different&one of the few times that it seemed like we had a strong connection&enjoyed doing it together, not because it felt forced like sports or work&whatever else, but because we both enjoyed listening to him. I didn’t understand or know everything that he was talking about so he’d explain it to me&have good conversations.
I remember the show after 9/11 of course, I don’t remember exactly the one the day after my grandmother, my father’s mother, passed away the night before, but I remember we got in the truck before he came on. My mom came out after us all flustered that we were just leaving my grandparents house so soon after she passed. We got in, he turned the radio on, &drove to the beach&back just listening to him. I don’t remember if I even really heard what Paul was talking about, but hearing his voice in the background was comforting.
He had an extraordinary life if you look into it rofl he once broke into a nuclear reach laboratory, well not INTO one, but jumped over the fence to see how far he could get to prove his point that our security was not adequate back in 1945-47 I think it was. He was caught by security of course, but let go. The General Attorney I think it was tried to get a grand jury to indict him but he fought back on air saying he was being set up. He never got indicted by the grand jury&the FBI said he was pursing participation journalism or something in a way to justify his actions. He was friends with John Edgar Hoover, close friends it seemed. He would send in his script to him personally a lot to get his opinion on it&make sure it was alright to air. He even defended Hoover on air when rumors spread about him, saying basically ‘if we didn’t have him, we would be screwed’.
When he passed away, it was almost like losing one of my dads close friends who was like an uncle to me since listening to him got me through tough times&like I said was one of the very few things that we bonded over.

I totally agree with you and just had to let you know. Was just trying to talk to my husband about this. Satan’s way is to get you to become dissatisfied with some of the people at church because of how they act or offend you. Instead, if we follow the true teachings of Jesus we will follow the commandments. Example, love God and Jesus, love our neighbors as ourselves, do not be judgemental because you may not really know the truth but think you do. So some people are looking at an organization,or church to lead them which is only as good as the leaders instead of reading the scriptures, praying and staying close to God to lead you by the Holy Spirit. We have to be actively involved in our own salvation and stay close to God like sheep stay close to the shepherd so we won’t be lead astray. I have trouble within my own family with this also. The only perfect mortal person was Jesus, the rest of us make mistakes and that’s why we need repentance and forgiveness and love- but not let anything lead us away from Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

@@ivanbluetarski9071 There are good and bad perspectives and choices. "Evil" depends on how you define it, but I'll come to that.
People have done many things in the past that were once considered good, that we consider bad in our modern, shall we say more civilised times. Slavery or racism for instance.
I'm curious as to what beliefs or acts we hold to be good today, will be considered bad in the centuries to come!
Suicide bombers believe they are doing good, where I'm sure most of us would consider such an act to be "evil".
In answer to your question, I'd say evil exists, but I'd define it as the performing of an act for one's own gratification, despite knowing that It is wrong and taking pleasure in the harm it causes others.
By the above definition, one could say the actions of a suicide bomber were entirely wrong, but could not necessarily call the person "evil".

My father was Irish and I was sent to Catholic school at the weekend. I hated the nuns and the practices were ridiculous. I escaped by waiting until my dad told me to do something and I replied “I don’t have to do that because you’re are not my real father.” As the explosion built up I calmly pointed out “ the nuns say you’re NOT my real father … my REAL father is in heaven.” My dad stormed out, demanded to see the mother superior and that was the last I heard of that.

I heard this years ago. This was the most profound thing I had heard, and it stuck with me.

This is the same man who believes His God lost Wrestling with the Zionist 😂😂😂😂
      Genesis 32:28
“Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on you will be called ISRAEL 🇮🇱 , because you have fought with God and with men and have won.”

I was born in 66. Its amazing that this has been going on all my life and its coming to a boiling point 57 years later

Great job of finding the quotes and putting them in context with the "if I were the devil" speech.

My experience in public school was the same. Subjects were different, but teachers were mostly evil bullies.

I'm so sorry you had such evil experiences. I loved school and became a first grade teacher.

Lol I'm old enough to have listened to Paul Harvey with my dad and this one was played on air back then quiet a few times over the years ! Evertime it was played it was like a prophecy more than just a shows tidbit !😎 When he passed away it was like an old family member you loved yet never met before in person.😢

Joe needs to hear to certain prophecies of the Bible , authored 2,000 years ago.
Earlier generations could not have IMAGINED how it could come to pass , but they believed anyway.
It's breathtaking to see these things unfolding in our time .
    Joe should hear .

I can't see Joe having a Bishop, Rabbi (Too on the nose, compared with his other plentiful Jewish guests) or Imam on his Show.
One day; May he see the Light.

In Australia they've just taken the Lord's prayer out of parliament and nobody's talking about it
