      You truly have. You've missed the struggles of ramps 1.4, Marlin, 20 mm/s outer perimeter max speed @ 500mm/s^2 accel, no filament runout sensors, no input shaping, no pressure advance, lack of enclosures, V6 hotend non-rigid mount, V6 hotend nozzle changing horrors, V6 hotend heatbreak shenanigans, V-slot extrusions, no flex plate, no extrusion backers, no bed kinematics, no kits, extremely small communities, silly slicers, and the list goes on. Funny thing is, I still look back on all that as good times with a new technology. Even my first $200 chinese i3 printer that I never assembled correctly and never got a good print out of.

    @VezED I watched the first layer print, thought… mex…..
    The second layer, it looked and sounded like it’d gone nuts, but the quality looked good, I broke out laughing!
    And finally at 1500 mm/s you finally hit a limit of some sort, guessed to be processing.
    In a world where most home 3D printers are still running cheapskate 8-bit microcomtrollers, you may have maxed out a 32-bit microcontroller but still had mechanical capacity leftover 🤣🤣🤣

    • @strictnonconformist7369
      @strictnonconformist7369 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@autogyro333 can’t say I’m not intrigued, but perhaps I may conclude it’s inadequate and refuse, because I assess it needs to be 64-bit ;)
      But in reality, there are contexts where going 64-bit makes more sense than 32-bit, but it’s actually unlikely to be of benefit for this context: 64-bit code tends to need more memory bandwidth and larger cache, both things you’ll often not get in a microcontroller type of environment. Having more CPU registers is possibly a valid reason, but that’s not a function of being 32 or 64-bit explicitly in the general sense, but a matter of the ISA and its implementation combined with how well the compiler optimizes their use.
      I could also do the most bizarre thing in funding to live up to my moniker: mail you a penny, which of course has no real value😜

  • @Nobody-Nowhere
    @Nobody-Nowhere ปีที่แล้ว +11

    You can just reduce microstepping so the board can keep it up. And gain some extra torque at the same time.
    Klipper crashes if you try to do too fast movements with too high microsteppings, says MCU timing issues. But its simply about trying to generate too many steps, and dropping microstepping halves the necessary steps that are generated.
