Excellent video. Hope there will be a follow-up as I dropped by just a day ago and noticed two gondolas suspended from balcony. Not sure if that's a sign of restoration or work-in-progress. A few years ago the whole plot was auctioned off by bank to a property developer for Myr10,000,000 but the 80 apartment owners didn't get a single cent from sale. The new developer had plans to turn units on existing 10-storey block into serviced apartments with rooftop beer garden while constructing a new 20-storey condotel adjacent to it. However plans were delayed as developer was tied up with other ongoing projects. Several months ago, I saw an advertisement for sale of Wangsa Putri Condominium. The asking price of Myr12,500,000 is Myr2.5mil above purchase cost. Meanwhile some apartment owners have sold their units to the developer at Myr40,000 which is 30% of the original purchase price! A similar situation like this in Singapore would see owners reaping a windfall from 'share of enblock sale'. They gain nothing in Malaysia whose laws only benefit developers...

What will happen to the building now? It's been left to rot for the longest time already.
Clueless except to wait and see.
This building abandoned just 1-2 year after Highland Tower tragedy... so this building has poor land structure so the MPJB had to evacuate this building... they might dont want repeat the highland tower tragedy

All hope is not lost because land is in a good and convenient location. Problems started mainly due to dispute of apartment owners with property managers (appointed by developer) over the 400% increase in maintenance n service charges. They engaged a law firm to argue their case when sued but original developer went bust before court hearing. Development was then bought by new owner in bank auction for Myr10,000,000 which doesn't include individual apartment units.

Dulu masa kerja dgn syarikat kurier, ada lah 2-3 kali hantar surat kat bangunan ini. Suasana dlm bangunan ni tak terurus langsung. Sampah sana sini.
Penghuni apartmen memang derita sekiranya pihak pengurusan kurang cekap mengatasi isu sampah sarap di merata tempat.
Bangunan tu ada yang naik tarafkan.Atau bangunan tu dibiarkan saje 😓😓
Dah lama terbelangkai dah. Rasanya takkan ada sebarang usaha nak diselamatkan semula.
@Zharfan Kamarul Baharin Tu lah sentimen majoriti. Tapi tiada siapa nak jadi pihak yg merobohkannya pasal kena keluarkan kos belanjawan. Tanah ni mungkin berharga juga kalau nak majukan balik semula.

Condos with monthly maintenance as upkeeping fees during the time was a burden to most. Most couldn’t afford it at the time perhaps.
Nak baiki kos tinggi. Nak jual murah tak bebaloi. Pembeli x minat. Design lama. Bilik dan ruang x menarik. Jika boleh ubah suai jadi Asrama Pekerja TKI Kilang saja
Rasanya kalau dapat ubahsuai pun susah nak duduk lama2 pasal dah jadi bangunan ’supernatural’
