Hi Dani, this video gives people an example of just what you deal with all the time. The roads were a mess, fog, and terrible drivers as well. So many large trucks everywhere you tried to go or park at, very frustrating, I'm sure. Thanks for a great and informative video. Happy New Year to you as well. 👍👍👍
Oh, i guess the whole balkans had very solid fog. I couldn't see ANY fireworks and i was supposed to see thousands because of where i am. 22:00 good advice, many people see games these days and think it must be that simple, it is not that simple. In games you do not wait for a 14 km line on the border. And you gotta figure out solutions with waste, will it smell in with you, will you park somewhere, will your truck even fit in the parking.
Oh yeah, sometimes finding a parking place is really a challenge, especially in western Europe (Germany), it's more simple in Romania Bulgaria Turkey, but not always 😂
More border drama! Would like to have a look at the joint in the daylight - some of the road surface might as well grade it back to gravel it is that rough. Was the traffic 'peak hour' or it is like that anytime of the day / night? Another poster alluded to an early halt to election voting to see the preferred candidate win😂 All up seems like a part of the world best to give the big swerve. Back to Greece and Turkey for easier running. Good video!!
There are "peak days" in Ruse, and since they are renovating bridge, and there are traffic lights etc. (you can see it in next video) since then, crossing this bridge into Bulgaria is really really hellish experience during peak days. But nowadays with Romania and Bulgaria in Schengen, should be better, and hopefully they will finish renovation soon.
@@adrianserban9984 Romania are niste probleme de trafic, dar este o tara cu adevarat frumoasa. Aș spune că România are un peisaj mai bun decât Polonia.
Hey Dani, is it worth becoming a trucker in your opinion? I am living in UK. I have enjoyed watching your channel throughout this year, all the best for you in 2025, my friend.
@@madmaxaviation well. I can speak only about Europe and UK, I don't know about USA or Canada or Australia. If you are after the money, you can still make enough money to live peacefully as a trucker. If you are ready to sacrifice lot of time, friends family and relationship, and to live in truck on the road, you can make lot of money (especially in Germany/Netherlands/Scandinavia). But at the same time you can find job to be at home during weekends, or every day. It depends what do you exactly want from job as a trucker. Money? Adventures? New countries? Because you can have it as normal job, or live in truck. You need to remember that whenever you will be even few days on the road, sleeping in truck etc. it's more like lifestyle, than a job. My personal opinion is that it's really worth to be truck driver, to make even licence to carry dangerous goods. Who knows, maybe you can get really good job for example for military even, carrying equipment. I can see many trucks carrying NATO stuff but I can't record them, because they could take video down due to safety stuff. Or you can carry just oversized loads. With truck license you have pretty much easy access to work in different countries, even on different continents. For me this variety of systems of work, and variety of jobs inside this truck driver occupation, makes is valuable for me.
@@DaniTruckerson dani, thanks for taking the time to write this bro, it was very helpful. To be honest, I enjoy my own company a lot and don’t really have any family left 😅 so it might be the job for me, who knows. I think I will do my trucking licenses this year and take a change of career. I would prefer to live and drive in Europe as opposed to the UK though. Need to see where I could get a job…
@@madmaxaviation I see, 100% you will find job in Netherlands/Belgium/Germany with English language to drive trucks. I know because on Polish websites there are plenty of job offers there.
@@TribuniPlebis 😂 traffic itself is just part of whole picture, the second part is fact, that many people are driving like crazy 😂 and cars are sometimes parked in very very bad way, basically on the road.
Better say, welcome to the third world. Bangladesh is luxury compared to this. We are that country that canceled its presidential elections while people still voting, because the one who was supposed to win didn't make it in the first round. So look around to see what corruption looks like...
Wow I had no idea about this voting story. In Poland we don't hear lot of news from Romania, the recent one is about Schengen, and that's it. But it will change finally, not today, not tomorrow, we need few generations to pass, and something will change.
@@DaniTruckerson Yep, it just happened. It's about the candidate Calin Georgescu, a staunch nationalist and a Eurosceptic who wanted peace in Europe, and he was going to win the elections. But surprise... the globalists and the protectors of ”democracy”, don't want such a person.
Happy New Year Dani, may your travels be safe and fruititious 🎉😊
