@karlstyle7645 Some submissions require a much quicker tap than others, which is why they're not allowed in certain youth tournaments, and sometimes even at adult tournaments. Also, certain leg locks destroy the leg beyond the point of full recovery (ie, permanent damage). This clip is asking whether the leg lock they boy used, should be one of the ones not allowed for those reasons. Nothing to do with sex.

Why? in the beginning she has locked her legs and he ties the lock with his leg then applies leverage so she can't unlock her legs and as he leans backwards she feels the pull. He knows he can pop her knee so he moves slowly so she can bear it till it's over. Well controlled and ref stepped in just in case he didn't feel the tap.

It's a compression lock or a calf slicer/crusher. Put your right ankle under your left knee. Now try to touck your left heel to your butt. It puts pressure on the muscle and hurts. You'll have a gnarly bruise but little danger of breaking anything like bones or tendons.

It’s wild but I remember being a kid like it was yesterday. It’s not sexualizing. It’s simply that as a kid we had our first girlfriends and or boyfriends. It’s the age where we’re still figuring things out. And yes this is 100 percent an awkward situation for a boy at this age. Take it how you will but I grew up in a time where this wasn’t a situation to be put in. In fact the only time I went up against a female was during training in the military. I knew a guy in highschool who had to wrestle female in a match. His family was there and he lost the first round because he didn't know how to pin her without touching her inappropriately. For the second round, his coach cussed him out and said, "Treat her like any other opponent."

As someone who wrestled I can tell you this story is made up there is no winning rounds. Do some guys get uncomfortable and told to treat them like a man, yes they do but his story was fabricated.

This will almost never actually be useful in a self defense situation. Maybe in the rare chance that the person attacking you not only doesn't have a weapon or is also either shorter or weaker than you. Real self defense is learning gun safety and how to shoot them. At a very young age guns would probably be too much but then again, at that age martial arts wouldn't save them from anything anyway.

If you watched carefully. The boy raised his leg to put hers underneath his to put pressure on her leg. She tapped his hands so he knew that she was tapping out. So he tried to help her to show the ref that she was tapping out. They way she had her legs wrapped around his waist is what got her to tap out.
