Great video. I’ve watched a lot of these and yours taught me new techniques. I didn’t know that the mini thermal printers had papers with a longer shelf life. Thank you.
Wow this has saved me sooooo much research as I am thinking about little printers. I had no idea there were such different options like the canon selphie. Thank you❤
Thank you for this video ! The first printer you showed is mentioned a lot by fellow artists, it makes me wonder if I should give it a try 💭 I'd be interested to see a video were you do a deep dive review and/or show all the way you use it, what you like or don't like for each use. Anyways, I'm happy I found your channel, I can't wait to see what you share next ! 😊
I too, got this printer after seen many recommendation to it. I absolutely love the printer, the only down side is it jams every once awhile. Like it folds the top of my printing paper slightly. As crazy as it sound, I only got it for the purpose of journaling. I did thought about print stickers with it. Maybe if I do that one day, I can make a video of the process. Thank you for watching!❤️
This is SO helpful. Thank you. I want to try making printables on sticker paper, but don’t know anything about printers. I’m looking for economical ink refills too. I will look into the first printer. Thank you!!
That’s a great idea! The one I printed in the video with Epson is actually my Japanese washi paper. I should’ve shown you what it looks like after printing. I’m actually thinking about getting more different papers, so maybe I’ll do a video once I got them.
15:03 Phomemo printers also accommodate line art BEAUTIFULLY. You can even create your own B&W line art and print it with the Phomemo printer. Another point is the longevity, I have a paper from them that is listed to last 20 years that is transparent. I think that things like this could last indefinitely as long as they aren’t in direct sunlight.
This was such a helpful video! I just got a Kodak mini 2 retro and while the portability is a plus, the app experience is awful. I now hope to get the selphy later this year. I never considered a thermal printer but now I'm intrigued!
Thank you for this video, my canon ivy is dying and I've been considering if I should get something else to replace it. Your tip about putting all the pictures at the top to be able to reuse the paper is genius!
No. The big Epson printer can be print with cable. The other two, Canon and Phomemo are not wifi based, I believe. I took them out to the restaurant and coffee shops to use before.
Thank you for sharing all of that info. I am looking at buying printers for journaling.
I’m happy if the video helps! I hope you find a printer you love!

Thank you so much! I’m so glad it was helpful ☺️
I absolutely love the tip about pulling the back layer off on the selphy paper. Genius!
So happy to hear!!!
Me too!! One of my biggest qualms about the SELPHY is how thick the photo paper is for journaling - thank you!!
Wait that’s so smart, I never thought of taking the back off to make it thinner THANK YOU
Hahah! I’m so glad! ☺️
I also use that trick of using just the top of the paper, but with sticker paper… it’s very convenient 😅
I want to get some sticker paper too when im done with my Washi paper. Thank you for sharing!
Omg girl, the TIMING. I was literally looking for a printer
We are in sync! 😉

Could you point me to some of these artists, please? I'm considering purchasing and was worried about quality but this sounds promising :)

Thank you for watching! 😊
Do you have a video on how to use the Page app and resize the photos
sorry I don’t. It’s the iPhone Pages app. Similar to Microsoft Word. There’s some tutorials on TH-cam. ☺️
Such a doll. I wish you made documentary films too. I think you would be spectacular ✨️ ❤
Thank you! I love documentaries too. 💛
Could you please show us or make a video on how you use/print with Japanese washi paper. I'm intrigued.

Very smart & informative 🙂↕️. Thank you so much 🌹
Thank you!☺️
Thanks for sharing Nani! 😆
Thank you for asking the questions. It was fun to make the video ❤️
Thanks for sharing your printer recs, Nani! Been considering a thermal printer and you gave good insights to that end.
I’m so glad to hear that! Thank you!
Print app?

I was always wondering about the Kodak mini. That’s good to know.

Hahah! I'm so glad you like the tip. It blew my mind when I figured out that could work. I hope you find a great new printer! ☺️
Does all the printers require WIFI?
No. The big Epson printer can be print with cable. The other two, Canon and Phomemo are not wifi based, I believe. I took them out to the restaurant and coffee shops to use before.
@NaniLiYang ok awesome thanks 😊
