    It sucks that we live in a world where people would feign distress just to trap compassionate people. It makes people feel less than willing to help people who are actually in distress.

    • @dinarusso3320
      @dinarusso3320 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Unfortunately it's true but that's why I won't help strangers. If someone asks for help and they don't want you to call for emergency services, then move on.

      Agreed. Its horrible. One always needs to be wary. I once was leaving a Walmart in a summer afternoon. My car was a good distance from the door because the lot was crowded. A large, sweating man walks up to me & literally begins to plead for me to come over to his vehicle & give his car-battery a jump. I glanced over at the vehicle he was pointing to & saw a younger, muscular man standing next to it. The man looked calm as could be & was not even looking my way. It seemed like he was deliberately avoiding my gaze, as he stared straight ahead. The man pleaded again. I had a bad feeling & told him sorry I have to go. He wrung his hands but walks away. I wondered why he asked a woman, as opposed to a man, for help. The parking lot was really huge & had a few men walking around it. I got in my car & drove away. A few months later, I was stunned to learn the cops had begin to warn people to be careful in that Walmart lot, as people had begun to try to kidnap people for human-trafficking. Stay vigilant, people.

    Story 3- it truly blows my mind how inattentive people become of their kids when they go out shopping. They seem to think retail workers are their babysitters. That kid shouldn’t have been able to leave his mom that many times with his little sister and mom not saying anything.

    The OP in Story 2 really annoyed me. The woman claiming to be followed is so afraid but doesn’t want police called; red flag #1. OP sees a man in the back seat of the car, but the “victim” isn’t fazed by it; red flag #2. The man jumps out of the car and chases OP through the parking lot, through the store and back out into the parking lot again before she realizes “he is after her”. OP deserves the Darwin award! 🙄

    No job regardless of what it is is worth your life. I worked at a convenient store in the 80's on midnights or third shift mainly because of my size, 6'3 300lbs. I told the manager I'll work it but have no doubt if someone comes in to rob the place I'll carry the register to their car. I'm not dying for someone's else money. People are crazy especially this day and age.

    🤓💭
    There's a Joann's fabric store within walking distance of my house. It's one of several stores in a small strip mall that's been there for years. And until only 5 or 6 years ago, I thought it was a small business unique to only my town 😆 I had no idea that it was a popular chain store across the country😂 And what's even funnier is, there's a lady who works there that's been there for as long as the store itself has been there so naturally, I assumed she Was Joann.. THE Joann😅 I really need to get out and travel more 😁
    And also.. Story number 2.. Idk any levelheaded person.. Especially a female.. Who would get chased into a mall by a strange man, and Not instantly run to someone for help!
    👎😜 So I'm not buying that tall tale. I'd believe her story had she written in a detail about the mall security or a manager walking her to her car after she told them about her terrifying situation😒
