    Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited! We are taking a look at a RV that Andrea and I have owned for 6 months! This is the East to west entrada 2900DS! This is an amazing class c motorhome that is perfect for first timers. What I love about this Motorhome is that when the slide outs are in you can still use 100% of the whole RV! This is a great RV for all people!

    Why don't more companies offer the 50 amp service on Class C units? With all the convection Microwaves they are putting in and electronics it makes more sense.

    I love so much about this RV. It has a great floor plan and the colors are neutral. Love how it is so accessible when the slides are in. Love the TV facing the sofa. Love the kitchen area and bedroom. Bathroom is tight. Not thrilled about the cabinet faces and storage on the outside. But for the money I think this is the best RV available.

    I love what East to West is doing, if possible make dinette area smaller and have recliners. I understand why they have shelves by bed, but I wonder if I would hit them when sleeping? I am with Matt, the storage door, if not horizontal maybe go up with a strut? Love the colors, floorplan👍

    I think the dinette is entirely to big for this rig, shortening the dinette would allow for either a small closet pantry or more “living room” space. That said it still looks more spacious and functional than my A class, so this rig is definitely on my list to check out at the RV show in Charlotte this coming weekend. 💕

    Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes and likes are the same as yours. The latch door that falls to the ground nit a like tight bathroom and dinette should be shorter to fit longer couch. I love the dinette like you do. Like the two ACs and the fact you can walk through with the slide outs in. Like the bedroom too with slide out out. Thank you Matt and Andrea!

    This would be great for me and my hubby. But the only thing I would change would be the booth dinette, never have been a fan of those. I'd rather have a kitchen table and chairs. I do like the big pantry space and how you can get to the bed when the slides are closed.

    I like the sofa being long with an option to put a table in front of it as needed. Not a fan of the booth seating. Cockpit looks good 👍🏽 fully recline the pass seat; boondock friendly 👍🏽 access bed and bath with slides in; 50 amp service 👍🏽 electrical wont max out and 2 bigger AC units; post show bonus the weight limits are definitely useable - GCGV 7400 lbs ccc 2179 lbs 👍🏽 7500 lbs on the hitch COULD be towed with 2000 lbs in the coach, if there is no tongue weight, 6800 is the practical max KBYT .:. 👎🏽 no roof ladder; 👎🏽king beds rule; cabinet construction 👎🏽 yes price point, not sure long term .:. the decision with entry level is always: do we look for pre-owned to get more features at the same price point 👍🏽👎🏽 do we take the risk of something we don’t know .:. • @gregsayles9253
      @gregsayles9253 ปีที่แล้ว

      All depends on your weight in the vehicle (i e. RV)--U MUST KNOW what you put in the RV weight-wise & it's Distribution! Also, U Really need sway bars at the hitch of the trailer, & should Know what the water-levels are in a trailer with tank's--Keep them either empty Or full--Many Horror Stories with jack-knifed & flipped 🙃 trailer's so DON'T think U can just tow 7500 lbs because "that's what it's rated for"...& Don't go above 65 (preferably 60, if possible) due to Unexpected & Momentary windshear & gusts that can Easily cause a trailer to "get-away" from you! It's why airplane's fly, remember?--& make Sure trailer-brakes are fully operative & bearings are good👍--people slack on those 😰 / Best-of-luck & Safe Travels otherwise...

    • @brianvandy4002
      @brianvandy4002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregsayles9253 Everything you're talking about has nothing to do with towing. All of that (cargo, water, etc.) has to fit within the Vehicles 14,500 GVWR. Then you have another 7500# before meeting the GCWR of this RV. Everything else you mention is just making sure you have the proper equipment to tow safely. All I was saying is, If you have the appropriate equipment, you can tow 7500# behind this trailer assuming you haven't unsafely overloaded the RV. I liked it, because I'm trying to find an old motorhome that I can tow my Ford Edge with, but they are all 3500 or 5000# towing capacity. I want something that my Edge's GVWR falls entirely under the tow rating of the RV. I may just have to gamble with the 5000# rating and make sure my weight of the car isn't over that.

    • @gregsayles9253
      @gregsayles9253 ปีที่แล้ว

      --"Everything you're talking about has nothing to do with Towing"...hmmm, I think U may have simply reiterated both my, & even Matt's point here / That "All of that (cargo, water, etc.) has to fit within the vehicles 14,500 GVWR" is a Given & Why I didn't even mention it (U did above)--The "Towing" aspect that then comes into Question (& Why Matt says what he & everyone-else says when saying "I'm not going to say you can or cannot tow up to say, 7500 lbs") is in regards to Both the Combination of both the GVWR of the tow-vehicle & How It's Weight is Distributed that allows you to go over, say 5000 lbs & Up To 75000 lbs when towing (which is something you also agreed with, per your statement "you can tow 7500# behind this trailer assuming you have Not unsafely overloaded the RV") / So since U, me & Matt all agree, the Next question is concerning the nature of what is to be towed. In your case, it's a mute-point, because your Edge falls into the lower-scale weight of around 5000 lbs. However, I didn't know that & was assuming you may have wished to tow another "Trailer" that may have weighed more than that, & may have also contained things like water tanks or fluids, that shift in weight, etc. I say that because I personally know a young couple who started out in RVs and did just that, and had the trailer Flip on them in the Wind the First-Time the young woman took the wheel (like Litteraly 5-min after her husband let her start driving the 1st-time--don't ask about the licensing part of it 😅)--The back trailer (they lived in both the RV & trailer) had poor-weight-distribution in back (more weight should be up front) & sloshing, half-full water tanks as well. No sway-bars, etc., & Definitley over 5000 lbs when she decided to go over 65mph!--Both were almost killed & the new-trailer totaled! Their rig was also smashed into the trailer and suffered severe rear-end damage. This one-time event caused them to drop out of RV life, as the women was most grateful the trailer didn't smash into oncoming traffic, which it missed by just inches! / I didn't know all you were Towing is a Ford Edge behind you and assumed it could be something they they wanted to do & why I used the word "trailer" in my initial-reply / Sorry for the misunderstanding, and it sounds like you have it under-control otherewise...Enjoy RV-Life!

    • @brianvandy4002
      @brianvandy4002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregsayles9253 I think what I was getting at is that the Motorhome in question is rated to tow 7500#. Just like others are rated for 3500 or 5000 pounds. It's up to the user to make sure they are towing safely.
      I'm just getting at Matt's unwillingness to say that simple tow rating, is a little too paranoid. If you say the RV is rated to tow what it is actually rated to tow, you can't be sued for simply reitterating what the manufacturer has claimed. It's when you say something that's not true it could come back to bite you. Now he could have said "Tthis particular one is rated for 7500 pounds," and been perfectly fine stopping there.

    • @brianvandy4002
      @brianvandy4002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregsayles9253, and yes. I'm concerned about my Ford Edge with a GVWR of about 5500#. I've heard horror stories of insurance companies refusing to cover an accident if the GVWR of the tow vehicle isn't under the tow rating of the towing vehicle, even if the car weighed less than that rating at the time of the accident. So that means I'd need a tow rating of at least 5500#, or just push my luck as my current weight without me in it is 4500#. Then I'd just have to go to court against my insurance company if they try to deny my claim.
