The sunblock shade over the skylight is terrible. I have them in my 5th wheel, and you're right, they never close correctly, NEVER!! Definitely, a very bad design. The rest of the rig is beautiful.
A TV in the overhead bunk space, but no full length window to look out while on the road?! That was the obsolute best view up there! Plus it lets in so much natural light and makes it less claustrophobic. Is that old school?
Why are there no plugs for the coffee pot in the kitchen, seems to be the problem in most smaller motorhomes. Some people live off coffee and we like slow cookers too. No cup holder on the table
This is very true! We have a 2861 on order and it seems to be that is one of the only floor plans that comes with an outlet above the counter for counter plug in appliances
I was interested in rving until I found out what these things sell for. Pretty insane. They will give you some low payments though, and when you kick the bucket, they'll come repo it and resell it.
It does sound like they are a lot and they do cost a lot. But I've been doing this for 40 some years. And now that things have changed for me. I have been looking at buying homes. That's out of the question. It's outrageous what they want for a piece of c*** house in who knows what area so you're looking at about? On the low side, about $2800 a month or more in mortgage than insurances. And all the other stuff you have to add in. They don't tell you about it first and then you rent an apartment. That's about $2800 a month. If you want a decent place, and that's a one bedroom, and that's if they take yourandma's then on the other side you're probably gonna pay about $800 a month for your RV. And if you know how to do it properly, you don't always have to spend the night in an RV park like I said, I've been doing it for a very long time. There's many things you can do to live for free. So in the scheme of things they're, they're not that expensive. It depends what you want. You know what do you want to live in where do you want to be at? You get more freedom in an RV. Believe me downscaling, especially as you get older in life, all the credit that you've collected is just a burden. It's almost like freeing yourself, once you get rid of everything that you don't even use and you think you needed it so I've been for the last 4 years, at least. Every day for 4 to 6 hours a day. Looking at mortgages and percentage rates and credit Union loans. And other loans and which one turns out to be the best for me. You have to figure that out for yourself. But for me it always came back to the motor home. I can't afford to pay. Well, over $500000 for a house. I even looked at cabins in a certain area. And they were 250000 and they were decent. Cause I'm used to living in a small area. But at the same time I still don't have the down payment. Once you're retired, that's it? I beg people to either save money. Or try to get some type of roller state to get you going and don't get rid of it. Cause you may never have a chance at getting a piece of real estate in this country ever again. So it's all a matter of just sitting down and figuring out. What you want, what's works for you? What you wanna do? What's it gonna cost? I know I research the LLC up in Montana and Wyoming. But now California is trying to squash. That meaning you don't have to pay taxes if you legally become. Person that lives in those 2 states. You save about 12:00 or $120:00 on taxes alone. But California is getting real close to stopping that all together. You just have to do your homework and research. Cause not everybody's gonna tell you everything. They're gonna tell you what makes them money. And I guess that's what hustling out there does for people but. I just want somewhere safe and warm to live. That's all I need so good luck to you thinking about. I don't know if you already have a house and you wanted to add an RV just to go somewhere a lot of people let them sit. I have some friends that have had theirs for like 1617 years and they used it once. It's still sitting in their driveway. They keep thinking that it's gonna make a money and they depreciate. I don't care what brand it is. There's ways of letting people rent them out to other people. You have to check into your insurance. They have to have insurance. I don't know the INS and outs of that 1 I bought a brand new travel trailer 12 years ago now and it leaked from the very beginning where I lived. There was nowhere for anybody to fix it. Then this happened and that happened so I've had to try to keep up on it the best I can. And now it's getting harder to get into R. V parks, they went from $250 a month to sometimes 14 to $1600 a month and the laws starting to really put their foot down. Now most places are being bought up by corporations. Just like the mobile home parks, so you can stay 2 weeks and then you gotta go out 2 days and then come back. So that ends up being about $1400 a month. Like I said, you really have to do your homework and don't believe what these people are trying to sell you. Because that's that's their bread-and-butter to feed themselves. I don't put them down for that. That's something they need to do also but at the same time I don't want to be ripped off. So let me know how you do. What you end up deciding to do
I just wanted to add one more thing, maybe I. Already had said it, but you'll see people saying this broke and that broke will you have something that is made in about unless you're by high-end, coaches and even they have their issues, which cost more because they're high-end coaches go into a factory somewhere if you're close by one or can get to 1 and watch them build them. An average travel trailer of I'll say a week and that's pushing it that it takes for them to put it on a compare about and build it up from there. It's all as lightweight material as it can. Get that way. You're not too heavy when you're traveling in it. Cause you don't want to get Nate to 10 miles to a gallon. If you're driving a motor home like a classy, I like those better but everybody has their own choices. And what they like and don't like. And that's something that you have to decide for yourself. But I don't know any RV people that I haven't come across. That hasn't had a problem whether it cost a million dollars or they bought. It used for $50 or they bought. It used for $50. They have all had some kind of issue with them. You just learn how to work on a myself preferably. But I see a lot of people's replies stating that this is broke or that is broken and I can say that happens. Nothing's perfect on these things. I bought mine brand new. It turned into a lemon very quickly and I lived 3 hours away from where they had taken it. I had to take it to get it fixed. And they had the trailer for about over a month, which I don't think they needed it that long, but they had it that long and it cost me 1200 a month to stay at a motel sit's, and I'll, and now, the thing leaks and the floor needs to be fixed, which I. Have somebody luckily that knows how to do these things? Otherwise I'd really be broke. And the shades breand you name it and it can break like I said, mine's 12 years old. So in the scheme of things it's late. I have to look at it. As like could have been a lot worse. I just wish it wasn't just the furniture whatever material it was made out of started peeling about. Just after the warranty ran out, whatever was leaking, ruin my diner. Set which had my only storage didn't have a lot of storage in it. So you want to make sure you look for as much storage as you want. But like I said, you don't wanna fill. The thing up less is better so I had to remove everything out of here. The couch the dine at. So I got creative thanks to Costco in there. Black and yellow tubs they make. I filled those up for storage. Then I put a twin sized mattress on it. In the living room and now that's where I sleep anyway. Like I said, just take your time. Don't let Em push you into buying something. Be careful going to the shows. And buying them there. I'm known people that did that. You got all these people walking through. And it's pretty sad to say that people are still in knobs of the arby's that are at the shows and those have been sold, they shouldn't have the door locked, but they didn't. So when the people came home, they were missing a lot of things and at the show they said you bought it as is soh, like I said, it's just like the rest of the world you have to be careful on your. Anyway, they're fun, but since COVID the prices have gone up and they're starting to come down. I've noticed, but the interest rates are higher so that doesn't help much. Just just make a list of what you want and stick by that. Don't let them sell you something. You don't want just because you may want it right then take your time. They'll find you something. Believe me they want to sell something. That will find you what you want. I walked through this trailer. They had everything open in this building with lots of lights on it. Now that I live in it, it's really dark wood. There's hardly any lighting in here. It's pretty sad and since I've had it in a park for this time. 4 years now. I need new tires. Just because they look new doesn't mean that they're good tires. And I don't want them blowing out on the highway and hurting somebody. Anyway, I'll go on and on forever, so thanks. If you reading this, if you have any questions, let me know or ask other RV people. Everybody has something great to say and anybody that's ever owned one for any period of time knows what they're talking about . I would love to have a class b.But those things are two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and upwards and To live in a full-time.I mean you could, if you were by yourself. That would be easy for me.But I have a huge dog Also, be careful when people are trying to sell you these tiny homesor park models because you can put them INR v parks if they get approved. But once they're in there, it's pretty hard to get them taken out and if you think you can just buy a piece of property and plop. 'Em on there and put plumbing and all that it's not true you need permits. You need everything the city can take you for as far as money. And licenses and license contractors to put it in. I almost somebody almost gave me mobile home and it was older, but it was in great condition till I started looking at their handbooks there. About 4 inches thick full of rules and regulations and what you can and cannot do. And they're exempt from rent control and different things like that. And once you. Are kicked out for whatever reason you have to leave and to get if you want to take that thing with you. Good luck it back in in the 80s. It was $10000 just to get it up off the foundation. Finding a place to put it again couldn't do it, so be careful of mobile homes. They look nice in some of the mobile home parks are nice looking but at the same time, they are there on Beast and their own regupatience. No matter how much we look at something or inspect something or research something. There's always gonna find something that's gonna have to be fixed or. Changed. Just make sure you do your research. I hate to see anybody get ripped off. At any given time, but at these times it's tough right now. I remember when rent and groceries and everything was equal to or close to what your paycheck could handle it now. A house I bought in 87 was a $110000. And I looked it up and it's $800000 granted that was. 20 years ago, but that's ridiculous for a 1200 square foot. Cookie cutter house in a neighborhood that's no longer friendly or decent at all. I'm hoping that whoever becomes. President stops the gouging on the rent and mortgage payments. But you notice when they ask him questions. One of them will just smile and. Kind of give you a blank stair. But you never get an answer out of any of them.I wanna know what they're gonna do I don't wanna see anybody swing in their hair around in the ground. An a oh it it's gonna be fixed.Yeah, but how they never get to ask him.Good luck to you.Sorry I was just trying to help you out a little bit

I freakin love your narrative ways so much…you inspire me
Love the review. Made me laugh about the storage space to hide things near the recliner. Also, that watch really suits you.
Thank you. 👋🙂

Otherwise really impressive layout, and the shower was awesome along with a bedroom! Wow
Well I guess one could lay on the bed in back and watch the view behind like a rumble seat. 😄
I actually really like the lighting!
Your description of the accordion shade was hilarious.
Hellwig system, just helps keeps the motorhome from less swaying and ride smoother
Very nice!
