    i made fat rascals yesterday for my grandchildren. They didnt like them and I decided they werent worth the effort too. Much nicer to have scones. They can be dry even straight from the oven . i wonder if the high sales are because they are a novelty as i found tje one i bought at Bettys dry and hard too.

    How sad that most people in England have no idea how to make fat rascals and how will this become an English tradition. Betty's has kept the recipe secret and this is so sad. We do not even know what spices Betty uses to make fat rascals.
