I’m very minimalist already with stationary. My pencil case became less and less as I grew older. So, my 5 items would be - Pentel Energel Gel pen in .5 mm - Pentel Energel Mechanical pencil .5 mm - Eraser - highlighter - tombow fudenoske brush pen
I LOVE the way gel pens feel and look, but for notes I will always stick to ballpoint. My handwriting is better even though I write quickly, it lasts longer, never smudges and I can highlight immediately. I use gel pens in my bullet journal but I when I tried it for notes I went back to ballpoint very quickly.
I love ballpoint pens, especially the ones with finer tips. I never liked gel pen for their smudging and not being as smooth as ball point pens. I don't know if it's just me or some other people feel this way too...
@@Arshath13 what ballpoint pens have you found with smaller tips? I like how ballpoint pens don't smear and how smooth some are, but I can't seem to find any with tips 0.5 or lower. I prefer 0.3 or 0.48 but I would be fine with 0.5
We use the same pencil!! I got mine off of Amazon like 3 years ago haha so I would say it is durable. Also I still can’t get over your handwriting, god didn’t bless me with good handwriting 😫
I’ve been looking for a video to watch , and I’m trying to use my pens up , I already finished a black gellly roll which I used so much. Also , I’ve really been loving the white gelly roll and thanks for this video
I've pretty much transitioned to digital note-taking on my iPad too, but I really enjoy the analog pen on paper style for when I'm running to different meetings and when I'm taking exams. I love the Zebra Sara 0.5mm in Black and the Tombow Hybrid Correction Tape. I enjoy using the Zebra DelGuard in 0.5mm because it is very light and writes smoothly. For erasers, I would choose the Staedtler Mars Plastic because they're very durable. For highlighters, I would also choose the Uni Propus Window Highlighter in the pastel orange/yellow color; I really liked using that highlighter with that specific color.
hhghghg i truly can't give up the feeling of pen on paper.... i don't care how many matte screen protectors claim to be like paper; they're just not the same! even if i take 100% digital notes, i still like to journal and spend some time writing notes, letters, and things like that!
I use Pilots white line rt correction tape, it's retractable and also has refills. And it's width is also very small compared to other correction tape i used before, so it easily fits in any type of pencil case.
If I could Keep 5 items only it would be - Pentel Energel 0.5 -Tombow Mechanical Pencil -A Blue Gel Pen (for Colour coding) -A blue Highlighter -A Ruler (a must have for an Engineering student)
if i had to pick 5 items i'd say... oh god this is hard i like having a lot. - my tombow brush pen in 997 (i'm used to having that as a go-to all around colour thing both when bullet journalling and taking notes sometimes. the brush and tiny nib ends are convenient and it's very pretty.) - a black zebra sarasa clip in 0.4 or a muji 0.38 - a mechanical pencil (mine is a tombow bizno 0.5 which was given to me LMAO) - kneadable eraser (i use a two year old faber castel one. i dont press hard when writing and when making guidelines i make them very faint so it hasn't been a problem for me. i like how it just turns darker and doesn't disintegrate so it lasts long. its also fun to play with when i'm bored lmao) - correction tape (still finding a good brand/type for this one since the local brands that i see often that have refills aren't good)
I love buying stationery and have a very bad coping habit of buying stationery just for the surge of endorphins that I get. When I watched your videos on stationery no buy and realized just how much money I had spent on stationery (it wasn't something against capitalism, it was mainly me being an idiot) I decided to start a stationery no buy. I have started it in November and hope to continue this upto at least 1st July of 2022. Your videos always motivate me to stick to my plan and try a bit of minimalism. Thank you so much for being the kind of person you are.
i have like a very minimal pencil case but i have quite a lot stitting at home cos i keep getting limited edition pens lol but if i had to keep 5 things i would keep: • 0.5 black sarasa •plus correction tape (has cheap refills! • uni kuru toga • sakura foam eraser • uni propus (light blue) lol i realised mine was kinda similar to urs
she made a video back then about what's on her ipad! the details about her iPad, including links, are in the description: th-cam.com/video/i-SuFiO6wSE/w-d-xo.html
if you plan on using it for drawing/art or any kind of heavy task like 3d models/coding projects, go with the air. if you're using it for notes and you prefer smaller form factors, go with the new mini. if you're just using it for notes, light art, web browsing, & microsoft/google suite , go for the 9th gen :) i own an air, and it's good for me because i do a bit of coding on it but it's a bit more than the average consumer would really need. the laminated/ipad-pro style screen & upgraded processor are the main features making it stand apart from the 9th gen.
- muji mechanical pencil - pentel energel 0.5mm pen - just ur regular BIC whiteout - zebra mildliner highlighter - pentel fude touch sign pen no eraser since the muji pencil already has one and I don't use pencils very often
Do some way of earning time I have a small pencil case with only four items which are my basics and the ones I use on the go. This made me feel related somehow, and I really like this video. In my pencil case you can find these things which I think are my essentials: - Pentel x HIBIYA KANDAN in 0.5mm - Kokuyo Pencil Eraser in Pure Sugar - Kurutoga Mechanical Pencil in 0.5 mm - Mildliner in Gray If I could fit another item will be a paper mate correction tape, but I find completely easy to have just a small pencilcase with the essentials for earning time while going thru my whole stationery.
I’m very minimalist already with stationary. My pencil case became less and less as I grew older. So, my 5 items would be

i wish i could stick with ballpoint like that! i'm just too picky about the way my pens feel when i write with them :(

My five items would be:
•a mechanical pencil in 0.5
•an eraser that erases well and doesn't smudge
•a fountain pen
•an ink eraser pen
•a ruler
i’ve been using that muji pencil for omg like 5 years!! it is so durable
ikr! mine has been sticking with me for maybe 4 or 5 years now? so it's really hanging in there!
I’ve been looking for a video to watch , and I’m trying to use my pens up , I already finished a black gellly roll which I used so much. Also , I’ve really been loving the white gelly roll and thanks for this video
congrats on using up the pen!!
You should get the tombow mono 2 way correction tape as it also had a mono eraser on the other end and it’s refillable!!
i might think about it once my no-buy is over :)

I indeed have too many pens this would be hard for me to choose which ones to take 😅
ikr! it was a lot harder once i had to sit down and actually think about the things i would keep!
