4.2 gpa is high even for first year bruh.. I got 2.5 Cgpa for my first year and that was already a struggle. It really also depends on what modules they are taking when they started uni, the level and marks required differ.
@@genitalman4016 it’s arguably one of the prestigious and toughest course in NUS, in fact their computer science course is one of the best in the world alongside with other colleges such as MIT. Even getting above 4 is ridiculously difficult in that course.

Hard to see why and how people would fail... if they just put in the required hours... of course, it doesn't mean it's you, it's really dependent on your cohort... if everyone scores well, then whatever you score, it's up the God of the Bell Curve! But B is like standard... - but like all things in life, you need to put in the required hours.

Universities are not built to give people Cs... if you just go through what you're given, taught, you will at least get a B - it's more or less has been so for me at least.
