0:12 That's called Pass and Extended doors. If the floor to floor height is not enough for regular biparting doors, the Pass and Extended is used where the lower panel on the upper floor passes in front of the upper panel on the lower floor. The extended is because of the upper panel being offset, meaning the trucking sill for the lower panel is wider than normal.

fun opening to this one. a elevator is the perfect for vertical transport. Cassell is a huge stadium. it keeps going and going. four elevators at Umass once had lights like the triangular exit sign.
i might do this at Umass Amherst.
