finally someone is doing this, I was a hokie from 2000-2004 who worked security, and brought these underground things up and nobody believed me, keep exploring and posting!

Yeah, I started taking that route in 2001. I'm glad others have figured it out for those lousy weather days.

I was unaware of the route on the other side of campus. I was so rarely in Smyth, Hutcheson, and Seitz that I never had a need. Good to know though. Thanks!

This is not from the steam tunnels...I don't want to risk getting in trouble with the university (I am a student at Tech.) by going down in them. Everything in this video is legally accessible to the students, if not the public as well.

Dieselducy and I filmed about 20-30 elevators or so on this trip. I think what I'll do is let DD decide which videos to post when, and I'll just post the responses.
    Thanks for subscribing!

you do know from Burrus you can go all the way to Mcbryde, to Torg to book store, to Squires right.... just stay out of the steam tunnels, explore on young grasshoppers

Say just for curiousity Jeff... what's the oldest building on Virginia Tech's campus? The old Davidson Hall or Burruss Hall?

+Nathan Andrew Davis (Bantam Jeep Elevators) You can see information about each building on VT.edu- just search for the building name. Doing that, I found that Davidson is actually older than Burruss!

I don’t know If it is still there, but “The Performing Arts Building” was the oldest when I was at VT. 19th century building. I had a class in it. It felt ancient.
