We went to Prince Street Pizza in New York Pizza to find out what the secret is to their famous Pepperoni Pizza! th-cam.com/video/Brry2FRCCkQ/w-d-xo.html
I was raised in Bloomfield NJ and spent years in NJ. My late wife was from Clifton. Rutts is a legacy for the family and a legend for the rest of us! God bless and safe travels!
I love that it is the ORIGINAL establishment as well. The old-old school building and the mostly untouched interior WITH the historic menu. You GOTTA love it!!
Having worked in our family business...third generation, it is disappointing to see our next generation not have the same vision. Lack of work ethic, and appreciation for what has been made available to them. I think seeing the long hours and time sacrifice made as we were away from family has skewed their perception. Family business doesn't work a 40hr work week, nor are you able to put a key in the door at 5 o'clock and walk away from it. Congratulations on all that your family has accomplished, it is inspiring to many of us.
Knew about Rutts all my life, grew up on Delawanna Ave, my mom used to work there at the snack bar area for years. Place used to be open till the wee hours, even had a cop stationed there for security back in the day
@@TonysFamousFinds - If you ever get to K.C. stop a Hayes Hamburgers and Chili. They’ve been in business for 70 years and cook the best smash burgers with grilled onions. Same location little place ,but does a big business with same menu. Breakfast, burgers ,hotdogs, tenderloin, chili. Of course sides fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms ect .
Ahoy from Nova Scotia! Stumbled upon your Channel. I learned a great deal from every Greek Cook I had the privilege to learn and work with through the years. You Guys are “Machines” in the Kitchen! Very well paced and interesting. I’m a Subscriber. Thank you.
Bucket list place for me. I've been to Jersey 100 times but never had time to make it out to Rutt's. Their hot dogs are vastly different from ours here in Chicago, but dang they look so tasty.
You probably don’t remember me but I used to bartend at Jimmy’s back in ‘22! We shared some crawfish one night up in live bar and I met Mark Henry working one of the private AEW events. So random seeing this in my feed, but awesome as well 😂 had some amazing memories there
Took me a while, but I actually clone the yellow relish. You can’t tell the difference between my recipe and theirs. Had many friends blindfold taste test and they swear it’s the same. They think that I just split their relish into 2 containers. 😂😂😂
I been there several times. The food is great going down but i believe they call those hotdogs "Rippers" is because they rip your ass no doubt you found out!
Rutts Hut hasn’t been good since I first went there in the 80’s. Recooked overcooked hotdogs , stale buns and the relish is nothing special. They are surviving on their reputation from days past. Don’t waste your time going there.

Jimmy Buffs is the BEST my opinion.
Rippers with mustard and relish cannot be beat.

Keep the grind up brother! I'm a huge food VLOG viewer and you have what it takes! the only thing you cant rush is time, let it come naturally.
I second this, with time your channel will blow up
Thanks for the feedback! Hope to give you some great content!

@@donaldpiper9763 Going for the Ravens Chiefs game. I'll get it on the list, thank you!
I remember as a teenager ;your date took you there, there were delicious. I came from Lodi
It’s a hot dog. This place looks like it can make a MEAN hot dog. Wish you guys all the success in the world.

Welcome aboard! Thank you for the compliment and hope to keep you entertained!
Thanks Tony I needed this
Very enjoyable video, it is clear you share a shared life experience with the owner. This place is on my list of places to go.
Easy to see eye to eye when you'r in the same industry for as long as we have been. Thanks for tuning in!
All respect to Rutts, love being in the comparison all the time for the best of the country….by the Stare Ledger
Bill guy is in every Rutts Hutt video, he must be the man lol
Bucket list place for me. I've been to Jersey 100 times but never had time to make it out to Rutt's. Their hot dogs are vastly different from ours here in Chicago, but dang they look so tasty.
I recommend! It was interesting to see it fried! What are the go to spots in Chicago?
If you make it back to Jersey skip rutts hut and go to Hirams in Fort Lee. That’s the place you need to go to!
@@TonysFamousFindssorry but rutts hut is way over rated.
@@MichaelRei99 Thanks Michael, will do, maybe both. Cheers
Love going to ruts. Ripper with relish
What is in the sauce do you think? Relish, mustard, onion, mayo, etc.?
I would love to try this place

I do! Great to hear from you! Hope you liked the video
It needs more cowbell
I want to know what that relish tastes like? What is it made of? Maybe pickled onion and turmeric?
Unless you you hot dog bunt to a crisp don’t ask for an Creamatory and it’s in NJ if I’m not mistaken
Bravo pethia'
Overrated hot dog (there are FAR better) but still a really great place and a must for any hot dog aficionado. Love the spot.
Very over rated I would’t say good either. Hirams in Fort Lee is the place to go!
I don't eat pork 🐖... but I'd make an exception for that 🌭...
Took me a while, but I actually clone the yellow relish. You can’t tell the difference between my recipe and theirs. Had many friends blindfold taste test and they swear it’s the same. They think that I just split their relish into 2 containers. 😂😂😂
But have you taken a bath in it yet? lol.. tasty for sure!

Nobody better on the PLANET to talk food on TH-cam. Love what you're doing here.
A weller or a cremator with a side of their onion rings
Nobody but those, who live around the corner, know how to get there!
when he showed the flatscreen signage i physically cringed
Goddam it. Now i have to go to Joizey. Fuhgeddabahit.
Chili dog has been on the menu for years. Just gotta irder a biw of chili with your dog. Sorry guys😂
Did you go there to compare yourself to everything they do or to eat a damn hotdog…
I been there several times. The food is great going down but i believe they call those hotdogs "Rippers" is because they rip your ass no doubt you found out!
Lol lovely looking quality hotdog what's the meat content 10%😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Que pasa Tony ,you want to see a famous hot dog. I'll show you a famous hot dog.
I mean, if I was in the area I might go to check out their hotdogs. But again, it is just a hotdog, so….
*96 years
A place near me has them beat. Pulliams in Winston Salem NC has been open since 1910
It might beat rutts but you ain’t beating Hirams in Fort Lee and you can take that to the bank!
@@MichaelRei99 I would have to try them. According to their sign they opened 22 years after the place here opened.
Christ is Risen guys, wishing you both continued success!!
Why destroy a great story with politics or religion?
Why do you have to be a douchebag?
These are the real American's not the ones that Boebert rambles on about.

Sorry. Place is so overrated!
You are soooooooo right. The place is horrible!
