    Serge, you never fail to impress, particularly with how much info you can squeeze into just 5 or 6 minutes! I've saved so much time using your various tips, and people are like, "How do you know that cool stuff??" Thanks for these, and please keep making more.

    Excellent tutorial! I only wish there was more fluid cohesion between FCPX and Motion 5. It's a pain having to export/import constantly.

    hey segre
    This is exactly the opportunity I was looking for!
    Add titles in Final Cut as a preset! And the detour via Motion is so cool! Thank you!

    They really should improve on integration between the two such as media/assets/etc. management though. I typically find myself having to clean up resources after completing a project and consolidating and there’s room for improvements there.

      I agree, and it was here with Serge that I learned about how to dump unnecessary render files after a project was complete. I had old FCPX Libs sucking up space until I used that trick. Why not put it INTO Final Cut as an option?

  • @bricksuntold

    I would like to see more Motion tutorials! Wish Apple could do better integration to sending clips from FCP to Motion. Currently it looks a bit cumbersome to export and import video files.

    • @mtamech535
      @mtamech535 ปีที่แล้ว

      What FCP needs to do is allow us to use sounds inside of it, not just through created videos.

    Hi Serge, thank you for your great videos. I just installed Motion and am pretty confused. I have an existing Final Cut project and want to enhance (scale, movement, color saturation, etc) using key frames on a clip in that project.
    I don't see how to apply those effects to the clip using Motion while in Final Cut. Do I have to export the clip to Motion somehow?
    If so, it seems I won't be able see how the clip works in the Final Cut project as I go. I'm sure I'm missing something very basic. I'm on OS 12.6, Final Cut 10.6.4, Motion 5.6.2 Thanks in advance!

    What are the top 10 Envato elements templates for Final Cut Pro? I have always wanted to see a video on how you use these. You can't go wrong with some great design and functionality!

    Why is the motion tracking in FinalCut so bad compared to Motion ?

  • @adelabd6961

    is there's chance do same effect using "shotcut" OR "CINELERRA-GG"? please if there's away purplish it.

    Hello, I just bought Motion and I'm struggling a bit. My goal: to create a shape (custom, not just a square) in a shot I have in Final Cut Pro. I thought I could transfer a shot directly from Final Cut to Motion like we could from Premiere to After Effect but apparently not, or at least I can't. Someone can help me ? haha

  • @ChrisCoelho
    @ChrisCoelho 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    i wonder why object tracking is better in motion than final cut, why wouldn't they just literally copy paste the same tool over to FCP

    Would you say it is rather easy to create Title plugins to sell in your own shop?

    • @Serge1913
      @Serge1913  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be. Most third party plugins ARE made in Motion

    Apple - integrate Motion into FCP

  • @kingjusticeakedem
    @kingjusticeakedem 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The process is too long compared to Adobe Pr. and Adobe Ae. This is the main problem with Final Cut and Motion for decades. Instead, they are adding unnecessary features and upgrades.
