    This could be a dumb question: How big is shooter, height and weight?

    • @MarkVPeterson
      @MarkVPeterson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not a dumb question at all, Shooter is 22 inches tall, and 36 pounds during hunting season and 39 pounds during the off season. Shooter is an awesome dog.

    Guys if ya let your dogs get wet or swim. Remove any boots then put them back on once the feet are dry. Pro tip from a guy who made that mistake and almost ruined a dog. All I use is vet wrap and a thin layer of duct tape for boots. Ya just cut em off and throw away. More flexible so dogs like em and are cheap. Another pro tip for feet...tuffoot for your dogs feet. Toughens pads.

      @@MarkVPeterson Hope it helps. I use Tuffoot on my own feet prior to the season. Caught me at home in Central Tx. One of my britts cut a pad grouse hunting in MT. Mark I sold my ranch here...pending and plan on marching north to SD. So far I'm sticking the pin in the map at Pierre and looking for a place east of there.
      If ya see me around I will buy ya a coffee. My toy hauler base camp and my Hiker off road rig are both named War Wagon with MT plates. I will be the guy with the Brittainy's. No Brittainy's It's just not me!!!! Thanks again for the breakdown. Helped narrow my search.

    You just need better working dog's to find and hold coveys. Brittany's are paramount but you haven't seen what I have with chukar hunting or huns you'd know. I didn't see proper search or head up into the thermals, then slow meticulous stealthy stalking by your dog's. They were too fast running on instincts instead of both instinct & intellect.
