Very nice logging trailer set and use of the natural outdoors as a backdrop. Great job.👍
Thanks, David. I got the video done just before the snow storm hit. That's why it was getting windy. Have a great week 🚛💨🐭👍

Thanks, Mr Ron. This truck is one of my favorite models to put together. Snow here hasn't been to bad so far this year. You take care. 🚚🚛💨🏭🐀
DAMN !!! That came out amazing
Thanks, I appreciate it 👋🚛💨🏭🐀
Nice rig, Craig....my compliments!
In my younger years, before I became a real trucker (owner/operator in Canada), I assembled a number of scale-model trucks, tractors, and a CAT bulldozer that fit onto the RGN-semi trailer. Upon temporarily moving back to Switzerland in 1974, I took the models with me in an overseas-trunk, but donated them to the Swiss Transport Museum in Lucerne, because of lack of space in the trunk for the return journey to Montreal.
The museum displayed my models for a number of years thereafterwithin different dioramas.
I only built another tractor/trailer from scratch, made of balsa-wood while working in Northern Canada for a half year, to while away the long dark nights. It was a specific type of combination vehicle, based on plans invented by a German engineer. I still have that model, although its falling apart due to being moved around too much.
Although I'm technically way past "retirement" age, I'm still running my Fleet Safety, Compliance & Risk Management company....but, if I ever really do retire, I may go back to assembling these models (or, finance-permitting, go into the Wedico-type models with RC-controlled electric propulsion. (google Wedico or RC truck models for more info). I'll look forward to your next vehicle addition to your fleet. Good luck.
Thank you very much for the great comment. I hope you are able to get back into building model trucks and R.C. I have a couple R.C. Rock crawlers. They are fun. I would like to get a semi truck. 🚛💨🐭👍
Epic build , lad. Awesome work. 👍
Thanks, I am going to build a Big Rig for a Jeff tribute. It may take a little while to pick something and get a video done. I am getting some models finished up and ready for a model show in February. 👋🐭

Thanks, Chris 👋 Yeah. Finding parking spots is a problem. I just took over the house and kicked everyone out. That has worked out well. 😄🏭🐀

That's so cool...
Thank you. 🚛💨🐀🏭
Love this model. I had the same exact one when I was a kid. I've been driving log trucks my whole life, I'm 59 now. The center beam is called the reach and the handle you speak of on the trailer is called the reach clamp handle. The front bunk has to swivel or the truck cannot corner in real life. The pin is for loading only and is removed just before driving. For a more real look your logs need to be a bit longer in the front to keep you from what is called stripping your load. The chains around the load should have a length of cable in the middle with chain on each end and are properly called wrapper's. The tree logs is what we call a bunk lay and three more are needed for a realistic load. Just some pointer's if your going to show it and get judged. Good luck and thanks for taking me back for a glimpse of my childhood.
Hello, I'm 59 also. 1965 was a great year. We are proof of that😆 I appreciate all the great information on logger trucks and trailers. I wasn't sure if the reflective decal should be on the center beam. I was thinking it would probably have grease on it. I may use some kindling sticks on the bottom of the load. I was just thinking of using the stuff box stock from the kit. Thanks again 🚛💨🐭👍
Very nice sir, hello from your neighbor over in Holly again! See you next month.
Thanks, I can't believe it is almost the middle of January. I gotta get over to see your models. Thanks for checking out my build and the comments. 🚚🚛💨🏭🐀
Turned out awesome Craig
Thank you, Tom. 🚚🚛💨🏭🐀
Cool trailer. 👍👍👍

Looks great buddy. 😊
Thank you, Big C. 🚚🚛💨🏭🐀
Cool model.
Thanks. 👋🐭
Great looking build!
Thank you very much, Jim 🚚 🚛 💨 🏭 🐀
. Hey wanted to find out if Gary got that money I sent? Just wanted to make sure so no one scamed the Cash.
@jimfolkers4425 I would try to send Gary an email. I really don't get involved with who gave or any amounts. I don't think it is my business. I did ask him about PayPal. He is open to the idea. It sometimes takes a while to get a response from him. He usually dose email from the library. And he has lost the brakes on his truck. Thanks, Jim.
@@dfactoryrat653did send some more his way! Just want to make sure he is getting it! That's all! Don't want to have him scamed!
Nice build Craig. The chains seem to be a bit over weathered. I have seen these (usually jacknifed) On the roads in Wyoming and Montana. Overall a fine build with great details all around.
I appreciate your opinion, Ed. Thanks. I was thinking about rubbing the chains with a scratch bright to remove some weathering. Thanks again 👋🐭
