I own a 2019 s5, for the price of this car the navigation sucks. It doesn’t handle voice commands well and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Other that the car is great, i will stick to my iPhone, you need to fix this!!!
My mother in law has this same car and I drive it often. The user interface seen here is just awful. My wife was thinking about a Q5 but went with a Subaru, partly because of the absolutely terrible user interface and functionality seen here. The top of the line Subaru is WAY WAY better than this. Not as many neat little functions, I’m not sure as it never comes up, but in the ways you actually use the system there’s no comparison. Touch screen, intuitive controls, etc. Writing with your finger? Seriously? That’s some Palm Pilot nonsense. Top of the line Forester was $15,000 less than entry level Q5 too and has better features. The Audi has more power and handles better, and is just a tad more comfortable, but otherwise the Subaru is a far better car.
The Audi MMI actually works wonderfully once you are used to it. I own a pre-facelift SQ5 and even a top of the line Forester (while good value) is nowhere near what I would consider an actual luxury car.

As far a luxury, it’s a fantastic car, particularly for the price, and has some features even some actual luxury cars don’t have, but no, definitely not a luxury car. Once you get in to the higher trim levels, the S line, etc, it’s really a different animal all together. I’ve driven a few and they’re proper luxury cars, but that wasn’t in our budget. But at the entry level, I really don’t think you get much for the extra money and I personally think calling an A3 or base model Q5 a luxury car is a stretch.
Audi is not good. ⭕Poor quality in material and manufacturing, especially in non-visible places. ⭕Cheap electronics made in China. ⭕Unreliable software. ⭕Terrible value for money. Conclusion: Driving Audi is not fun but trouble! 😖
The technology is NOT user friendly AND, the manual is virtually and literally useless. Simple stuff like loading music is a literal PIA AND, when thee system resets as mine is prone to do I loose all my music. This is frustrating enough but like an infomercial "wait, there's more. . . " The list is long but let it suffice to say I find it poorly designed and poorly executed.
