1st Run after building the Upgraded Phoenix. Full Review on everything and how it worked. My Thoughts. What needs to be Upgraded now, and future upgrades discussed.
hey man whats up.. so to mine i used the rock pirates shock towers, hardcore rc high clearance links...only used the lower links.. and losi rock claws 2.2x5 inch tires and this thing is a beast... over 60 hours on it.
Bedsides only come if u buy the clear body set. Or if u get a rtr u can replace them with colored once. Kinda sucks cus pain ran on mine and the only sell them in the clear body set not as singles for $149.
The clicking sound is the there’s two chefs in the transmission they’re almost identical one has an indention on it and that’s the difference so you can if you swap those two around that’ll solve a problem there’s a video on it I can’t remember the guys name but he’s got a great stuff too. I just type in the vanquish PS4 10 straight axle build and I will tell you.
@@upgradedrc3697 there is no mention or showing of mounting those shocks with the fender liners or aftermarket shock towers, and no mention of what ballcups you used in that video after watching it again, after it was linked. Anywhere I can see some pictures of how they’re mounted?
@@upgradedrc3697 Thanks. I thought it was something specific. I've seen that spray many times. My VS4-10 arrives this saturday. Getting ready with all the materials for assembly.
- For $500 + All Elec. Equip. = $1,000, "and" then ya still have to upgrade it, after (ALL THAT MONEY) !!!???? Fut Dat. 🤭... Just Buy a Gmade (GS02F) you "WILL" definetly be much more satisfied, besides you'll have more money left over to throw at upgrades to any crawler !!!! 🤫
i hate weights, adding weight to get your rear get planted is not the best solution... you need proper shock tuning. your flipping your rig because your cg is too high, your on portals so using 80mm shocks will lower your cg. The vanquish shock towers are garbage, i threw my Origin towers away. Rock pirates shock towers have a larger holes... 4mm holes, never going to buy or use those! using longer links is not ideal, if you had a class 3 rig with 2.2 tires... running longer is good. but you have a trail rig, you want to be able to climb an obstacle faster, clear the belly and exit faster so a wheelbase of 313 and lower is ideal.

Use the bed liner on the top of the roof and around the corners of the roof top.
Had the same clicking from my VS4-10, shimed the ( VPS10124 ) gear & it stoped, was a fixed I got from Exocage

Vps10124 comes up as rock sliders....

What did you use to mount those shocks? I tried using the pieces I got with the shocks and it didn’t seem to work.

I used nylon collars and nylon shims.

I change up tires all the time. But, I'm currently running the Mickey Thompson baja pro x tires and love them. Great traction on the rocks.👍

Eventually I will have all of them, and they all need upgrades. I probably have $2500.00 plus into each of my Upgraded RC's
Gmade is barely hobby grade RC 😂 worse suspension geometry, minimal aftermarket support, etc. no doubt the vanquish is a better all around rig.
