As a BTS fan who has twitter, i use it strictly for bts news or like updates
there's a LOT of fanwars on twitter and if you just ignore that side and focus on the sides where it's chill, then that's a starting point.
Also people support and stream BTS so much because they want to prove BTS is superior or just to support their artist, nothing crazy y'know.
They're really dedicated, sometimes a bit too much but I did once get yelled at for not streaming a song properly on spotify so I totally agree with you.
